The bailiff job is the art of intimidation Caroline and Antoine are two bailiff who love their job and try not to be too emotionally involved with their clients. Antoine thinks that the job lacks humanity and compassion. He wants to believe that clients are really in trouble. Caroline on the other hand thinks that they are all thieves and liars. Antoine falls in love whit Maxine, whose father (Pierre Arditi) a famous painter, king of the art of talking, a charmer and a small swindler is under the eye of the law for not paying his overdrafts. It gets complicated when Antoine is chosen to execute the sentence of repossessing. He must choose between his love and doing his job. Antoine has only one solution ! A pleasant and instructive film. The French tittle "L'insaisissable" means "what/which cannot be taken " is it love which stays when everything else is gone(an empty apartment) !
