holy crap this is a bad show. First and foremost I absolutely adore the US version of queer eye, but this doesn't even compare to it. All the people on the show are really unfunny and camp and the end result of the makeover never makes you go WOW like the US version. This show is bad because I find the Uk version of the fab five really annoying. . But the absolute worst thing about this show is that it has lost all the charm and wit which attracted me to the original. I love the US fab five with Carson making me crack into hysterics every second, Kyan melting me with his hot hotness, and the rest of the guys being fun, lovable and way more enjoyable to watch.
To conclude I will say, stop screwing us over Living TV by showing us this copied piece of B.S. Stick to the original and get rid of the English Queer eye for the straight guy.
By the way this is an unbiased comment since I'm English and not a homoephobe or anything.

I'm writing to say i disagree with all the comments made about queer eye uk. I really enjoy watching the show so do loads of other people I know. I think the fab 5 are charming, funny, and absolutely gorgeous especially Tristan and Dane. Its not right for any one to knock the guys and say the USA show is better, personally I think the uk one is better because Julien is just as funny as Karlton and Dane is a better interior designer then the guy on the USA show. Maybe people from America think the USA queer eye is more entertaining because Brits have a different sense of humour to Americans, but the point of the show is to help straight guys in need and the UK show achieves this and can make a great change to a mans life. The show should never be cancelled, you can get great tips for cocktails from Peyton which i've used myself, Juliens fashion sense is great, hes well funny, and picks out the best shops in London. Jason gives some great culture tips, and Dane and Tristan show how to look after yourself, and your home to make you present yourself as an amazing person, as well as being great eye candy. The shows entertaining and makes you wish you had friends like the fab 5.
I'm a straight British guy, living in the US. Whilst there have been many great US remakes of British comedy and lifestyle series (Changing Rooms -> Trading Spaces etc) often as not, the US -> UK conversions of shows doesn't work. This is a prime example.
The British hosts are largely unattractive and unappealing. Straight or bi, I know a cute guy when I see one, and the UK cast just aren't. Worse still, they're annoying, and have some lousy ideas on style. Also, as said by other commenters here, the UK cast JUST WEREN'T FUNNY like the US cast were. The US hosts' humour is what has put the original Queer Eye on the televisual map. It's completely lacking in the UK version.
Generally Americans adore us British guys, think we're stylish and cultured, often just because of the accent, but the UK hosts of Queer Eye let us down in this respect.
Bravo TV showed the UK version, and I have to say, I was embarrassed that of all the gay guys in the UK, this motley group was all they could come up with.
Awful, just awful.

This is a fabulous TV show and is a great improvement on the U.S version which is boring and over the top. The 5 British guy men along with cute dog Lulu are altogether more funny, charming and stylish. The end results are of a much better standard than that of the U.S with the participants and their homes looking stunning. I would recommend everyone including women should watch this to gain excellent tips on grooming, culture, interior design, food and fashion. Not only will you gain valuable advise but this cheery upbeat show will make you laugh all the way through. This is a brilliant remake of the American version.
