The first half has the right amount of sentiments, comedy, and romance that it hooks you in. Its not a masterpiece or anything but an enjoyable film for that much time. The chemistry between the pair is good. Kalabhavan Mani has some good comedy scenes. The village scenes are very beautifully shot. The music especially Mazhathulikal is great. It's the second half that completely ruins the film. The terrible side plots about a bunch of nobodies is irritating and unfunny. The amount of times they try to do slapstick comedy and fail is more laughable than the jokes in the films itself. It is very clear that the film is meant to be a hindi movie or a remake of it. The climax is one of the most wtf moments I've seen in malayalam. There is a bound where it is acceptable to cross logic, and this film takes that to 11. It felt like a movie for kids instead of everyone. Definitely stop after the interval if you want to save your sanity.
