A great French movie starring famous French actors, Serge Avedikian and Marion Ducamp... even one who doesn't even figure in the credits : Jean Eudes de la Breteche, the main actor (the young blond boy)
Generation Video is mainly a movie about the effects of video games ( at the time, game boys :) ) on the kids generation born in the 80s. It depicts with great realism ( especially thanks to the really good actors, I have to say ) how a nice and cute young boy ( Jean Eudes de la Breteche, also seen in a small French movie, Citizen : Le film ) progressively becomes ugly and mean because of video games, and how he stays like that for his whole life! OK, it may not seem great like that, but the movie is in fact quite undescriptible! It's a small independent movie like we would like to see more, mostly shot in the marvelous town of Bruxelles; so...
If you haven't yet seen Generation Video, which is in fact quite likely, I recommend you rent the tape ( I don't believe the DVD exists...)
