While it’s common to see different game franchises spark a few conflicting opinions every now and then, Halo, especially the early games, has never truly been a part of it all. In fact, finding someone taking aim at this iconic franchise is about as rare as actually catching a shiny Pokémon.

So, when such opinions do pop up every now and then, consider ourselves utterly baffled by what said person is trying to cook up. Keeping that in mind, while we ourselves don’t have a horse in this race (for now), let’s take a look at what aspects might potentially make the Halo games “not” click for someone.

For the longest time, video games have faced a kind of paradox in the world of entertainment; despite their cultural acceptance, they’re often scapegoated for the atrocities of our reality, and game developers seem to understand this more than anyone else.

For instance, when Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was the franchise at its absolute peak, the game’s producer, Mark Rubin, essentially predicted what would happen in the future: Video Games would continue to remain the quintessential scapegoat for real-world violence.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe – for better or worse – has been the backbone of the cinematic industry for the last 20 years. The superhero franchise’s enduring existence came from its ability to merge the futuristic with the folklore, and the impossible with the mundane. But mostly, it was Kevin Feige’s brilliant execution of a 10-year-long interconnected plan.

Now, fans want Feige to look for a way to return to those glory days of the MCU without sacrificing the past that has already been built. Bringing back the Og cast would certainly be one of the greatest stunts ever pulled but it could also backfire in the worst manner possible.

Attention: The Following Report Is A Rumor. Please Take The Following Story With A Grain Of Salt.
After the release of Avengers: Endgame the Marvel Cinematic Universe admittedly hasn’t been drawing the kind of numbers it used to. A number of projects were impacted by the 2020 Covid-19 global pandemic, but many of its recent projects have either been poorly received or outright underperformed at the box office.
The only real runaway success was 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home which brought together two decades worth of Spider-Man films in one package with both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield teaming up with Tom Holland in a multiverse adventure. 2024’s Deadpool & Wolverine also did rather well and also had a multiverse storyline bringing back Hugh Jackman as Wolverine.
Now with the Multiverse Saga drawing to a close in 2027 with Avengers: Secret Wars we can probably expect to see a number of other multiverse appearances,...

Avengers: Secret Wars Rumored To Put Marvel's Spider-Men In A Unique Predicament - Possible Spoilers
With Avengers: Doomsday set to begin production in a matter of months, we're bracing ourselves for a lot of rumours about Marvel Studios' plans for that and Avengers: Secret Wars heading into the New Year.
There's already a lot of chatter online about both projects; the consensus right now seems to be that Doomsday will pit Earth 616's Mightiest Heroes against Doctor Doom before a roster of Multiversal characters assemble in the Battleworld-set sequel.
It's also been claimed that Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man will have a major role in Secret Wars, with Tom Holland's Peter Parker currently set as Doomsday's lead.
Today, @MyTimeToShineH commented on a Gif of them and Tobey Maguire's web-slinger by saying, "They’ll be forced to face off against each other in Secret Wars."
This could be (another) lucky guess or a hint that Secret Wars will be less an adaptation of the 2015 story...

Wandavision Star Elizabeth Olsen Teases MCU Return: "I Think I Would Maybe Be Spoiling Something..."
After Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, we still don't know what's next for the Scarlet Witch in the MCU. The character may have died beneath Mount Wundagore, but her story surely isn't over and there are plenty of places Wanda Maximoff can still go following that rampage through the Multiverse.
If online scoopers are to be believed, a Scarlet Witch movie is on the horizon. Agatha All Along, meanwhile, established that Wanda is "gone" and deliberately avoided using the word "dead."
During a recent convention Q&a, Elizabeth Olsen was asked if there are any particular storylines she'd like to adapt in the MCU. However, her answer has grabbed the attention of fans on social media.
"Well, honestly, if I were to tell you exactly what I would want I think I would maybe be spoiling something," the actor teased. "Kevin Feige genuinely asks us what we want to...

The 1928 animated short film Steamboat Willie officially became public domain earlier this year many have decided to take advantage of the situation by doing their own interpretations. One of the more popular paths recently is using a public domain property for the horror genre. We all remember the amount of publicity Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey got when it was first announced.
While multiple horror-themed movies, both released and announced, have featured the classic mouse, from Mickey’s Mouse Trap to Steamboat Willie to The Return of Steamboat Willie, there have also been instances of him appearing in horror games such as Infestation Origins (formerly titled Infestation 88). Now, another game seems to be taking a darker take on the iconic mouse.

There’s a storm brewing around the latest Spider-Man movie rumors, suggesting Tom Holland’s Peter Parker could be caught in yet another multiverse tangle in his next adventure.
Speculation is bouncing between two possible directions: a grounded, character-focused story or a massive multiverse spectacle. It seems the studio might be leaning toward the latter, leaving fans divided and many hoping for a return to a simpler, more classic Spider-Man storyline.
Reportedly titled Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the upcoming movie could take place in the aftermath of Avengers: Doomsday.
Peter Parker is ready to hang up his Spidey suit and focus on his personal life, but fate has other plans. A new threat supposedly pulls him back into action, and he’s rumored to team up with some unexpected allies, including Michael Keaton’s Vulture, Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man, and even Rdj’s Doom.

Rumors surrounding the next installment in Tom Holland’s Spider-Man IP have been quite erratic so far. While some suggested that the MCU might lean towards a more grounded story for Holland’s Peter, other reports alleged that the Cinematic giant is once again going for a multiversal epic.

According to one alleged leak, it seems the latter might be more in line with MCU’s scheme of things, which hasn’t sat well with fans, as most have been craving for a story that takes the character back to its roots.

For millions of people, Call of Duty is not just a video game — it’s a lifestyle. If you’re like me, the fall season is Call of Duty time, even down to my diet. For this year’s launch of Black Ops 6, I “celebrated” with Little Caesars, a place I’d never touch outside of this season.

The audience at San Diego Comic-Con got a huge surprise when not only was it revealed that Joe and Anthony Russo would direct Avengers: Doomsday (and Avengers: Secret Wars) but that Robert Downey Jr. would be playing Doctor Doom. However, the Russo brothers told GamesRadar+ that they had already been working on another project with Downey Jr. before they got the call.
“We’re all very close,” Joe Russo said. “We had been working on another project before Marvel approached all of us – so we’re working on another project with Robert – and there was a story that evolved through conversations that we got very excited about. Because it’s always got to be the story.” It’s unclear what this secret project was, but perhaps they’ll return to it once they wrap up Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.

The use of AI (artificial intelligence) in Hollywood is becoming more and more widespread, despite the significant pushback it tends to be met with among a lot of fans and those within the industry.
Though some feel that the advent of AI as a tool is an inevitability that people are just going to have to accept, replicating an actor's likeness - especially posthumously - is a step too far for many.
Several high-profile actors and directors have already spoken out against the use of AI, and we can now add Robert Downey Jr.'s name to the list.
The Academy Award winner - who was the driving force of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Tony Stark/Iron Man for many years and will soon make his MCU return as Doctor Doom - was asked how he feels about his likeness potentially being recreated on screen through AI technology and...

Sony Pictures billed “Venom: The Last Dance” as the final chapter in Tom Hardy’s alien-symbiote-buddy-comedy franchise. But with its $51 million domestic opening weekend — 44% and 55% lower than the previous two installments — the movie also signifies the continued twilight of superhero cinema as the dominant force at the box office.
Superhero movies used to be an indispensable revenue driver for the film industry. In 2018 and 2019, the average global gross for superhero fare was more than $1 billion. This year, it’s half that, even with the record-breaking success of “Deadpool & Wolverine.” In fact, the Ryan Reynolds-Hugh Jackman vehicle is the only comic book movie that could qualify as a hit since “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” debuted in June 2023. Since then, the genre has suffered an extraordinary box office drought. Film after film, from “The Flash” to “The Marvels” to “Madame Web,” opened to, at best, a shrug — and, at worst,...

Marvel Studios has shifted focus from quantity to quality during Phase 5, though that means the end of the Multiverse Saga is very nearly upon us...with a lot of stories seemingly left unfinished (for now, at least).
Every dangling plot thread not being neatly wrapped up by the end of this Saga isn't the end of the world; however, a new rumour shared by scooper Daniel Richtman claims Marvel Studios plans to release only two movies between Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.
One of those we already know is Spider-Man 4 and the other could be Blade or another mystery project. Clearly, those rumoured plans from a while back about a whole wave of "Battleworld" projects have been scaled back as, according to Richtman, Marvel Studios is eager to end the Multiverse Saga as soon as possible.

Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike both impressed many with their Gone Girl performances, with Pike earning numerous accolades for her role. Despite the praise Pike enjoyed for her performance, however, she initially felt her acting could’ve used some improving. Especially when compared to Affleck’s at the time.

But even she had her doubts about her acting in the movie. So much so she initially seemed to enjoy her co-star Affleck’s performance more than her own. In this week's episode of Agatha All Along, it was revealed that Aubrey Plaza's Rio Vidal is really the McU's version of Death. Of course, thanks to an earlier Funko Pop leak, many of us knew this coming.
Regardless, while "Rio" has been collecting the fallen members of the Coven on the Witches' Road, her intentions and history with Agatha Harkness have yet to be revealed.
Talking to Deadline, showrunner Jac Schaeffer (who also directed "Death's Hand in Mine") explained, "She is the personification of Death, and Agatha is a person who has killed a great number of people. It was a discovery in the writers room, or an idea that, if Agatha was going to have someone from her deep past who was really vital, the question was, 'Who would Agatha be attracted to? Who would Agatha be embroiled with? who would kind of turn Agatha’s head?...

After months of speculation, Sony Pictures has confirmed that Spider-Man 4 will be released in theaters on July 26, 2026. We've long suspected the date was being saved for the web-slinger as Marvel Studios removed an untiled movie from that weekend some time ago.
It's also been confirmed that Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings director Destin Daniel Cretton will helm the movie.
What's so interesting about this release date? For starters, this means it's coming out right between Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars. Unless it takes place before the former (which is unlikely given that Tom Holland is expected to be Doomsday's lead), chances are this story will take place in whatever's left after Earth's Mightiest Heroes clash with Doctor Doom.

Fantastic Four: First Steps is a movie that both Marvel and Kevin Feige are betting on. After two failed attempts to properly market the titular superhero group, the MCU is now taking out the big guns in an attempt to finally provide us with a decent Fantastic Four project that the fans will love and which is going to be successfully integrated into the MCU.
Although the project is some time away from its premiere, we are gradually receiving more information and rumors. The latest updates confirm that filming will take place in Spain. Additionally, the Calatrava will serve as the headquarters of the United Nations in the film.

The Fallout TV series has proven to be a rather massive hit for Amazon with its fresh take on the post-apocalyptic wasteland that still manages to retain the themes, absurdity, and magic of the source material.

For our readers, Vincent D’Onofrio is best known as the actor who portrayed Kingpin in Netflix’s ‘Daredevil’ and MCU’s ‘Echo.’ The fans are looking forward to his inclusion in the upcoming ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ and all the future storylines he will take part in.
A lot has been teased for Kingpin in the last year, and due to the complexities of his character and his acting, we can easily see him becoming one of the most menacing villains in the MCU despite not having superpowers.
At New York Comic Con 2024, Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio participated in an interview with Screen Rant. The topic quickly shifted to the potential future storylines in store for Daredevil and Kingpin.
Vincent D’Onofrio revealed that besides their own arcs, the studio rarely, almost never, reveals any details outside of their own arcs. This is likely to minimize the number of spoilers involved.

Tom Holland has become one of the biggest stars in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Even though he had to step in and fill big shoes previously worn by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, he has truly carved out a place for himself as Peter Parker in the "Spider-Man" films, as well as the larger MCU. Early on, though, the actor developed a bit of a reputation for spoiling secrets, which is a big no-no in the Marvel realm. We can chalk that up to a learning curve because it turns out Holland recently managed to keep one of Marvel's biggest secrets to himself.
The actor was only just a guest on Rich Roll's podcast, where he discussed the launch of his new non-alcoholic beer brand, Bero. During the conversation, Holland touched on his long-standing relationship with Robert Downey Jr., which goes back to his MCU debut in "Captain America: Civil War.

After starring in six MCU movies, Tom Holland is currently gearing up to shoot Avengers: Doomsday, Spider-Man 4, and Avengers: Secret Wars. The wall-crawler's next solo outing is also expected to be the start of a new trilogy.
That's going to keep the actor extremely busy, though we'd imagine he's fine with that after what's proven to be a hit-and-miss break from Marvel with projects like Uncharted and The Crowded Room.
In a new interview, Holland elaborated on how he's been mulling over his future as the wall-crawler and the evolution of his dynamic with both Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures.

At last year’s San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel Comics teased a major shift in their universe with the announcement of ‘One World Under Doom,’ a storyline poised to be as impactful as the 2008 ‘Dark Reign’ arc.
In ‘Dark Reign,’ Norman Osborn took on a central role similar to Nick Fury. Now, ‘One World Under Doom’ begins with the ‘Blood Hunt’ event, where Doctor Doom deceives Doctor Strange into surrendering the title of Sorcerer Supreme.
This sets the stage for a massive transformation across Marvel’s comics, introducing new series and one-shots centered around Doom, a notorious villain soon to be portrayed by Robert Downey Jr. in the MCU.
The centerpiece of this shift, ‘The Rise of Emperor Doom,’ is a five-issue series launching in February, written by Ryan North, known for his acclaimed work on Fantastic Four, which will also be impacted by this new era.

First teased last year at this past July's San Diego Comic-Con, One World Under Doom is billed as an overarching status quo shift coming to Marvel Comics that's being compared to 2008's Dark Reign (which saw Norman Osborn take on a Nick Fury-like role in the Marvel Universe).

When asked about Robert Downey Jr.'s thrilling return to the MCU as Doctor Doom, Spider-Man star Tom Holland gave the best response imaginable.
Marvel Studios took the world by storm with Downey's casting as Doctor Doom, giving the man who started the MCU a chance to shake things up as a villain. The newly-titled Avengers: Doomsday will see the former Iron Man star take on ex-teammates and newcomers from the Avengers, including his former mentee.
The web-slinger's future in the MCU is nothing to sneeze at, as Holland seems to already be set for multiple appearances outside of Spider-Man 4. As part of that future, many expect to see a Spidey-Doom showdown, making for an emotional reunion between two actors who are already so closely connected.

As a sequel to ‘WandaVision,’ we knew that ‘Agatha All Along’ would feature plenty of references to Scarlet Witch, despite her journey seemingly ending in ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Everyone who means something in the MCU has been telling us for the past year that Scarlet Witch is dead. Fans who feel that this is all just a massive misdirect might be onto something.
‘Agatha All Along’ is Agatha’s show, Jac Schaeffer, the showrunner, already admitted once before that she doesn’t want Wanda stealing Agatha’s thunder, so why does it feel that ‘Agatha All Along’ really just sets up Wanda’s return? And why is it more important than ever for Wanda to return?
MCU is currently in a strange place. When you take into account former Avengers, things are a mess. Iron Man is dead and off the table, Feige stated as much.
