It's title suggests something exciting, in the manner of a femme fatale, but Sin City's forgotten "Fatale" starring the beautiful Monica Sweetheart was D.O.A.
Cinematographer Jack Vincennes (aka Francois Clousot) adding both writing and directing credits got a chance to return to this native France for shooting the picture, but put absolutely nothing interesting into his script.
Unfortunate opening has a girl (Kirsty) who confusingly looks a lot like Monica, humping a guy in a bed with just a white frame behind their bodies. Monica catches them in the act, and it's goodbye to her unfaithful boyfriend.
That poorly cast pre-credits scene leads to our heroine wistfully recalling her past, standing in the ruins of 18th Century abandoned stone houses in the south of France. She left Paris to visit an old school friend (Jane Darling), who is in danger of having her own beautiful home being foreclosed by the bank.
As corny as possible, Monica endeavors to save the home by turning it into a sort of brothel, but without the atmosphere of a brothel. She advertises for attractive women and immediately she, Darling and two applicants are instant whores turning tricks on the premises. Clousot has no twists in his arsenal, as they manage to save the day and offer up bareback anal-sex scenes of a generic nature to the Sin City audience. What would a Euro cast do if not anal-sex, back in the day?
After two hours of such uninspired filmmaking I could only conclude that Ms. Sweetheart deserved better, a lot better.
