Esperienze allucinanti di Tara Young

This Italian vignette video concentrates on hardcore sex involving nuns or a priest, a recurring preoccupation in the national cinema & psyche. It's standard stuff except for an outstanding opening segment starring beautiful Rumika Powers.

I had seen the European starlet previously in the "Chasing the Big Ones" series, and she provides 20 minutes of ultra-high-quality sex in the opening piece titled "Die Versuchung" in the German-language version I bought. Rumika plays a nun-nurse caring for an ailing guy (Mick Blue). She has a mystical experience, as a blinding white light in the doorway, masking what might be the grim reaper, gives her a revelation to get sexy! What makes this segment so impressive is that director Nicky Manieri (hiding behind the oddball pseudonym "Jack Crawler") develops the action slowly but surely, harking back to the classic tease approach of ancient porn films, and letting Rumika deliver the goods on cue. With Mick Blue providing a laudable package for her to work with this makes for memorably arousing porn. Photography here is superb.

The other segments are mere filler. Toplined Tara Young is a blonde beauty, but her outdoor encounter with a priest (Bruno Sx) is a yawner. The final two vignettes deal with horny nuns, using candles or bananas as dildo equipment, and they left me cold.

I had seen one previous Ranieri film back in the VHS era: "La Famiglia", and that was a very effective incest outing that had plenty of plot for hardcore. Perhaps his oeuvre is worth checking out, as an unsung but evidently talented Italian pornmeister who has never received the U.S. video exposure of a Joe D'Amato or Luca Damiano.
