this movie was a piece of crap. the editing was terrible (ie the movie was unnecessarily long) but the acting and writing were even worse. the end was cliché and when the director wanted me to cry (like the characters seemed to always be) instead i found myself laughing at the horrible acting and complete absurdity of the entire scenario. this movie was screaming low budget student film in every scene. i like a good Dyke movie now and again too. but this movie ended up to actually be neither good nor a Dyke movie. so if that's what you're looking for best to just skip it. how anyone could watch this and enjoy it other than in a comical sense is beyond me. although if you're reading this IMDb page the changes are you've seen the movie and know exactly what i'm talking about, in which case i'm sorry.

This movie, while predictable and even overly-sappy at times, is nowhere near as bad as some of the other reviewers would lead you to believe.
Keep in mind that this is an indie film, and as such, lacks any of that overly-produced, Hollywood sterility, the exact thing that separates "indie" from "commercial" movies in the first place.
Granted, the camera work is a bit amateurish in places, the movie could have stood to have been trimmed in length just a tad, and more than a few scenes will lead you to easily guess what is going to happen next. But again, that is the very thing that gives an indie film much of its charm, in my opinion.
The acting was actually pretty good; about the only characters that seemed a bit flat were Maggie's lesbian friends. But, I think that had more to do with flaws in the script, rather than any lack of acting ability on the part of the actors.
Give this a watch and enjoy it for what it is: A genuinely sweet and rather touching love story.

This movie is full of awful. Terrible in so many ways. First of all the acting is non existent, well it exists but it is terrible by everyone in it, of course the actors haven't too much to say with such a horrible script to work with. The camera work is some of the worst I have ever seen - truly atrocious. I realize this movie had a low budget but whatever money was spent on this thing was money completely wasted.
The people who put up the money would have been better off to spend their money on something more worthwhile than to create this completely unedifying, unentertaining, amateurish excuse for a film. Why does anyone bother to take the time to produce such crap. What good does a film like this do? It's not about the lesbian thing - it's just about bad films in general. Surely they must know at the time that what they are doing is really an insult to good film-making.

I had a mixed opinion of this film. Most of the technical aspects: lighting, camera work, sound, sound mixing, etc looked both amateurish and low budget. For example, I noticed several shots which started out misframed, and they moved the camera to recenter the action, instead of re-shooting the scene. On the other hand, most of the artistic elements: acting, dialog, and soundtrack music selection were excellent. The script is somewhere in the middle. It's riddled with clichés, predictable, and unsubtle, but it's believable and has a wonderful tenderness. The characters are reminiscent of several of my women friends. Overall, the movie moved me, and kept me thinking for hours after watching it.
Those who wrote this film should be reported to the police and should stop being a screenwriter forever this film is so idiotic with the ugliest and most stupid ending in the world that it is undoubtedly at the last place of LGBT films, should hide your head below The sand for creating this set of unnecessary and meaningless dialogues, I feel robbed of 2 hours of life, to all lucky people who will read what I wrote do not look at this movie because it will take you away 2 hours of life is you will hate you to have it Wat and for listening to all there nonsense that they say during the film!!!!
OK This is a film for the lesbian community. Other viewers will not be too thrilled. Also the film is politically incorrect having resulted in a cold shoulder from the lesbian world. This is truly unfortunate. This film is much better than I was told it would be. Well, except for the convenient ending that takes the easy way out. The 3 main characters are well developed and painfully like real people. They resolve real problems with sensitivity and non-violence. They make personal sacrifices out of love and regard for others. One of the magical things that can happen with a low budget film is that it is free from profit mongering producers who put a lid on the presentation of reality. Again, it is truly heartbreaking that this film took the easy way out in its last 10 minutes. We get the husband's choice, and to some extent Maggie's but Annie was robbed of hers. Still,it was very eerie to see a story unfold that had so much of real life in it without any Hollywood polish.
This movie surprised me. It demonstrated that love truly conquers all. The husband, the wife, and the girlfriend all seek happiness and will do what it takes to ensure it. That is life - sometimes you get what you want and sometimes you make a sacrifice to get what you want. Despite the length, this is a good story.
The ending is sad but the story is the story. I think the folks who wrote this wanted to find a way to mend all in the end in they do. Please enjoy this movie and think of the joys and challenges of life. It one does this, this movie becomes a great example of the challenges we face each and every day.

I like this movie because you can really relate to the three main characters and the relationship they have. The on screen chemistry between the two women is excellent although the making out scenes were a little juvenile you definitely feel their attraction for each other. I thought Adam Knox who plays the husband was excellent and his character was very refreshing to see.
There are lots of great music tracks as well, although sometimes I thought they carried on playing in the background when they should have faded out.
I won't tell you how it ends but there was a point in the film were I felt the writers had got them selves cornered making the ending a little too predictable.
