Storyline
Did you know
- TriviaClu Gulager, the actor playing Bartender, is the father of the film's director, John Gulager. Also, Diane Ayala Goldner, who plays Harley Mama, is John's wife.
- Goofs(at around 1h 13 mins) Near the end of the film when the monster has crashed through the wall of the bar, the monster rips off his deer skull mask/helmet to show his true face. As soon as he tears the mask/helmet away, look carefully to the right of the screen. For a split second, you can see the black outline of a person standing beside it. This is revealed in the commentary.
- Quotes
Hero: Listen to me. A storm o'hell's coming down on this place any second. I don't know what they are, I don't know where they came from. All I do know is that these fuckers are fast, nasty, and hungry... and there's four of 'em. They got claws like Ginsu knives and more teeth than a chainsaw. They're comin'... right now. So we gotta lock this bar down. That means doors, windows, drains, and zippers, and we gotta do it now. You! Get a phone, call the cops, National Guard, townies, anybody who kicks ass, and get 'em out here. Any questions?
Bartender: Yeah. Who the hell are you?
Hero: I'm the guy that's gonna save your ass.
[a monster immediately reaches through the window and kills him]
- Crazy creditsAfter the credits start rolling we see what happens to Grandma.
- Alternate versionsAvailable as both Rated and Unrated version.
- ConnectionsEdited from Highwaymen (2004)
If you can restrict yourself, do not watch the trailer, there is a massive (early) spoiler in there. And one that is really on the nose. Other than that, if you like a good b-movie that is out there (no pun intended), you will love this. The follow ups were not as good, but at least tried to follow the pace this set
