It was Christmas in Salem as ornaments were hung, presents were shared and Chad finally learned that his wife had returned from the dead!
Our TV Fanatics Jack Ori and Christine Orlando are joined by Kpatch from MyHourglass a Days of Our Lives fan forum to choose their favorite ornament, decide if Chad should forgive Abigail, and debate whether Nicole will know she has a daughter for Christmas this year.
Which Horton Christmas ornament is your favorite?
Kpatch: I really don’t have one. I like that they are all unique.
Jack: I always look for Jj's ornament since he's my favorite character, and am always thrilled to see Tom, Alice, and Jack Sr's ornaments. I also think Ciara's ornament with its block letters is cute.
Christine: Seeing Tom and Alice’s ornaments, as they started it all, always makes me smile. I also like the history of the tree:...

Abigail was kept locked away in the attic, the Brady’s mourned the anniversary of Bo’s death, while Adrienne continued to waffle between Justin and Lucas on Days of Our Lives.
Our TV Fanatics Jack Ori and Christine Orlando are joined by Kierstin from MyHourglass a Days of Our Lives fan forum to debate Laura’s choice to keep Jennifer in the dark, Julie’s apology to Chad and Gabi, Adrienne’s indecision, and more of the happenings in Salem.
Is Laura a wonderful grandmother or the worst mother ever, and did Jennifer let Laura off the hook too easily?
Kierstin: I think Laura is a good grandmother. She did what was necessary for Abigail. I think Jennifer understood.
Jack: I don't know that Laura is the worst mother ever, but she's definitely not getting good grades as a grandmother. Lol. I would say Jennifer let her off the...

Does anyone else remember when Lawrence Alamain raped Jennifer?
Jennifer was deeply ashamed, couldn't touch Jack without having flashbacks, and ended up calling him a rapist because she couldn't tell him the truth. It drove a wedge between them.
Some 30 years later, while trying to have sex with Gabi, Jennifer's son is having flashbacks of somebody on top of him while he looks terrified and it is freaking him out so much he can't touch her.
It's the exact same story, except for Jj is being vilified for it and his girlfriend -- along with most of the town -- doesn't want to hear about it because they all assume he cheated.
From the beginning, it was pretty obvious that whatever happened to Jj, it wasn't him voluntarily having sex with a stranger. He was too drunk to remember what happened when he awakened the next morning without any clothes on.

Teresa and Brady prepared for their wedding, Laura did her best to make Chad miserable and villains from the past plotted against the good folks of Salem.
Our TV Fanatics Jack Ori and Christine Orlando are joined by Wendylou from MyHourglass a Days of Our Lives fan forum to discuss new villains, who will be the fall guy and which character they’d like to leave Salem.
Which are you the happiest to see return: Clyde, Orpheus, or Xander?
Jack: Orpheus! I have always been a huge Orpheus fan and can't wait to see what he does now.
Wendylou: I like Xander the best out of the three characters (although I admit I'm not familiar with Orpheus) but I'm kind of worried about the fact that he's out for revenge against Theresa.
Christine: I vaguely recall Orpheus. I actually have to go back for a refresher. I’m not thrilled...

It was hard to believe the hype about a new and improved Days of Our Lives after last year's writing regime changed failed to deliver. But if this week's shows are an indicator of things to come, maybe things actually have changed for the better.
Jj returned to town, finally, and appears to have an actual storyline. Meanwhile, fans were treated to a blast from the past as 80s super villain Orpheus teamed up with Clyde and Xander to plan revenge against Salem.
Orpheus was one of my favorite villains the first time around. He made "Roman" (really John) think that Marlena was dead, forced her to raise his children on some island somewhere, and generally terrorized her along with Steve and Kayla for a couple of years.
Then he was killed off and apparently morphed into Stefano, who had many of the same evil goals and weird love/hate relationship with Marlena.

Greyston, I know Laura you already talked about this, but can you talk about kind of your character’s experience being with the witches and how it’s going to kind of change Clay this season?
Greyston Holt: Yes. I mean, I think it just – it broadens all of our horizons a little bit you know. It’s a big bomb to drop in our world that there was – there were others out there with you know supernatural abilities and there’s a whole new world that’s opened up and I think it’s just kind of...

Sitcoms have given us so much - laughs, convoluted misunderstandings and even life lessons. But on occasion, they also broke from the typical formula and gave us a few scares. Sometimes they did it to celebrate Halloween. Sometimes they just did it to freak out children in the audience who might not be in on the joke. Here, then, are a handful of the oddball episodes of classic sitcoms that you can watch right now online - and that you might not believe actually aired until you see them for yourself. Laura talks us through the many joys of Jane Espenson and Brad Bell's totes adorbs web comedy, Husbands...
A couple of years ago, I was wandering around San Diego Comic-Con when I stumbled across a signing going on at the California Browncoats table. There sat Jane Espenson - writer for wonderful treats like Buffy, Battlestar Galactica, Torchwood, and Once Upon a Time - with two young men. I sidled up to one of the guys and asked what the signing was for. Husbands, he told me, a webseries comedy about marriage equality.
The three of them agreed to an interview (how could I pass up an opportunity to interview Espenson on one of her new projects?) and we talked about their plans for the show they were just about to shoot. Set just after marriage equality becomes law across the entire United States (and thus still,...

I'm one of the few 20-something-year-olds who gets excited whenever someone mentions soap operas. Having spent most of my childhood glued to my soaps-loving grandmother's side, I've watched enough episodes of "The Young and the Restless" and "The Bold and the Beautiful" to still know which characters are stirring up trouble today.
While the overly-dramatic plots (and romantic scenes) may have been too much for a five-year-old to fully comprehend, I most certainly couldn't take my eyes off the over-the-top costumes the daytime television actresses wore. Always trendy and sometimes tacky, soap opera character style is in a category of its own.
Since Hulu has resurrected two of the most beloved soap operas, "All My Children" and "One Life to Live," to much fanfare, we've decided to take a look back at soap's characters fashions over the years. Keep reading to find out what style pieces instantly come to mind...

The White Stripes split up. The Black Keys hit their success into the stratosphere. Death From Above 1979 reform. It’s all go in the world of the rock ‘n’ roll guitar/drum garage duos. So it looks set to continue with us Brits getting in our foot (feet?) in on the hullaballo.
Formed in 2004 it’s been a long time coming for Blood Red Shoes to stake their claim as ‘go to duo’, but with The White Stripes stricken from the record, The Black Keys success at an all time high because of the aforementioned split and their constant mining of the garage blues well, Dfa 1979 as unpredictable as ever and this reunion likely to be short lived; what better time than now?

Scream 4
Opens: April 15th 2011
Cast: Neve Campbell, David Arquette, Courteney Cox, Mary McDonnell, Emma Roberts Director: Wes Craven
Summary: Sidney Prescott, now the author of a self-help book, returns home to Woodsboro on the last stop of her book tour. There she reconnects with family and friends, but it also brings about the return of Ghostface which puts the whole town in danger.
Analysis: Back in late 1996 when I first began covering film news, "Scream" was released and became more than just a sleeper hit. After years of genre movies being relegated to direct-to-video status, this comedic slasher spawned the biggest surge in the horror film genre since "Halloween" almost two decades before. Its post-modern stylings and witty self-aware dialogue went on to be a big influence on films and television in general.
Yet the "Scream" series itself never could quite capture that glory again. By the time the...

The IMDb250. A list of the top 250 films as ranked by the users of the biggest internet movie site on the web. It is based upon the ratings provided by the users of the Internet Movie Database, which number into the millions. As such, it’s a perfect representation of the opinions of the movie masses, and arguably the most comprehensive ranking system on the Internet.
It’s because of this that we at HeyUGuys (and in this case we is myself and Gary) have decided to set ourselves a project. To watch and review all 250 movies on the list. We’ve frozen the list as of January 1st of this year. It’s not as simple as it sounds, we are watching them all in one year, 125 each.
This is our 27th update, my next five films watched for the project. You can find last week’s update here.
