The rebus puzzle in "Ze Inspector and Ze Lost Princess" included "m+(house)-h" for "mouse". Rebus puzzles don't usually remove a letter in that fashion. Most people would've gotten it without the "-h" part, and would be as initially confused as the subject was when he was reading it.
