Modern Family star Ariel Winter certainly knows how to cause a ruckus. More often than not, she does it by wearing very little and posting pictures of herself online. There's nothing wrong with that, she argues, and she has no patience for those who don't get it.

Ariel Winter is making everyone laugh. "I think my house is haunted," she says to the crew between setups at her THR photo shoot. "The lights went on and off last night." Warming to her topic like a stand-up, she continues, her delivery somewhat at odds with her perfectly made-up face and saucy outfit (white tank, torn jeans and 5-inch stilettos). "I literally was clutching my Care Bear. I put the covers over my eyes so I couldn't see what was happening." Pause. "Because that protects me somehow.

That ending changed everything that I thought I knew.
Devious Maids Season 4 Episode 9 had Marisol finding out some dark secrets from Genevieve's past, Carmen and Dani facing off once again, and Zoila's cover finally being blown.

Evelyn has also been a favorite of mine, but she stood out even more throughout this entire episode.
First she realized that while James is a great guy, he isn't a great guy for her. Evelyn thrives on drama, and even though Adrian isn't the best choice, he makes more sense.
I don't think Evelyn going back to Adrian would be the best choice for her, but in the end, it's what she wants that matters.
And the wisdom she shared with Marisol was spot on.

Scandal, Season 4, Episode 9, “Where the Sun Don’t Shine”
Written by Mark Wilding
Directed by Tony Goldwyn
Airs Thursdays at 9pm Est on ABC
On this week’s Scandal, Olivia confronts both of her parents, Cyrus quits the White House, Jakes hunts down Rowan, Quinn reunites with an old lover, and Huck delivers the truth to his ex-girlfriend.
Scandal has always excelled at finales, so it’s no surprise that “Where the Sun Don’t Shine” is just as fun, twist-y, and shocking as it’s predecessors. Also, it’s obvious from the opening sequence that all actors, and director Tony Goldwyn (Fitz)!, are bringing their A-game.
As introduced last week, the biggest dilemma facing the characters in the episode is Rowan. Poor Olivia, she’s easily winning the Worst Parents of the Year award. As awful as the Popes are, both to their daughter and to other people, it...

New programs at Morelia fest
MEXICO CITY -- Organizers of Mexico's Morelia International Film Festival said Thursday that 17 documentaries and 41 shorts will compete at the showcase's third edition from Oct. 8-16. Morelia has rapidly become one of the nation's most prestigious film fests, thanks to the backing of leading Mexican exhibitor Cinepolis. This year, the festival opens two new sections: Films Without Borders and Children's Shorts. Chris Eyre's A Thousand Roads and James Scurlock's Parents of the Year are among more than 80 pictures to unspool in Morelia's official sections. The annual festival focuses primarily on documentaries and shorts.
