Sawyer and Raye Levine Spielberg are set to star in the indie dark comedy thriller, Pink Flags, written and directed by Misha Calvert.

The real-life married couple will play opposite each other as a feisty figure skater named Liberty (Raye), who turns the tables on an inept stalker (Sawyer) while preparing for a high-stakes competition. Production started this month in New York City.

The short film calls upon the female gaze to help audiences connect to the emotional and psychological experience of stalking and assault, while using dark humor and a captivating aesthetic in the style of classic 1970s paranoia cinema.

Hyderabad, April 20 (Ians) Income Tax (I-t) officials continued searches at the offices of Telugu film production company, Mythri Movie Makers in Hyderabad for a second consecutive day on Thursday.

A team of I-t officials from New Delhi were also searching the residence of Sukumar, who directed movies like ‘Pushpa’, ‘Rangasthalam’ and ‘Arya’.

The I-t officials continued to search residences of Mythri Movie Makers promoters, including Erneni Naveen, Cherukuri Mohan, and Yalamanchili Ravishankar in Jubilee Hills.

The officials were checking records of their financial transactions for allegedly breaking investment regulations by bringing in funds from abroad for the second time in less than four months after December 2022.

The production house is suspected to have funnelled funds from abroad and invested in Tollywood to produce several films.

The I-t raids are happening at a time when the production house and Sukumar are engaged in the shooting of Allu Arjun-starrer ‘Pushap-2’.

Popular Telugu comedian Venu Madhav, who starred in over 150 films, breathed his last on Wednesday. The 39-year-old succumbed to kidney-related ailments here at a private hospital.

According to industry sources, Madhav was undergoing treatment at Yashoda Hospital for two weeks and was discharged on Sunday. He was reportedly advised to undergo kidney transplantation.

When we caught up with Peter Dinklage for a group interview during last June's visit to the set of X-Men: Days Of Future Past, he was dressed impeccably in a crisply-pressed 70s suit. With large shades, a handsomely curved moustache and voluminous hair parted to one side, he'd fit right into the cast of Anchorman. Instead, Dinklage is playing Bolivar Trask, who comic book readers will know is one of the key players in the Days Of Future Past story.

South films remakes in Bollywood have become sort of a norm these days. Now we hear that adding to the long list of remakes will be Kumar Taurani, who has acquired the remake rights of Telugu film Arya. Apparently, the producer has bought rights of three hit Telugu films - Arya, Souryam and Don Seenu. The 2004 hit Telugu film Arya which was directed by Sukumar and had Allu Arjun in the main lead will be remade in Hindi featuring Kumar Taurani's son Girish. Confirming the development, Kumar said that while they have acquired the rights of the film and are keen on casting Girish in the lead, the film will most probably be directed by the original director Sukumar. However, he further adds that if Girish declines the film, he will approach another actor.

Chennai, June 9: The cast and crew of superstar Mahesh Babu-starrer upcoming Telugu action-thriller "1: Nenokkadine" will head to Europe for a two-month long schedule, starting June 18.

Produced by 14 Reels Entertainment, "1: Nenokkadine" also features Sayaji Shinde, Kelli Dorji, Vikram Singh and Srinivasa Reddy.
