Arya is Sukumar's ( Director) first film which shown acting skills in Allu Arjun and stood out as altimeter favourite movie and character for all Allu Arjun fans.
It was dubbed in malayalam by khader hassan. After the financial failure of his malayalam films, khader hassan happened to see arya and immediately felt that this will be liked by malayalees.
Music album was released on 16 April 2004.
Jis joy dubbed for allu arjun in malayalam version. Jis joy, at that time was famous for dubbing in kayamkulam kochunni serial. Khader hassan wanted kayamkulam kochunni's voice for allu arjun. Jis joy became famous as the malayalam voice of allu arjun. He has dubbed in malayalam for allu arjun except vedam.
