Exclusive: Linda Perry, one of the most talented singer-songwriters in popular music, will be the subject of an upcoming documentary from Mercury Studios and Utopia Originals.
Award-winning filmmaker Don Hardy (Citizen Penn) is directing Linda Perry: Let It Die Here, described as “an intimate look at the multi-faceted singer, songwriter and producer.” Perry was the lead singer and principal songwriter for the influential band 4 Non Blondes from 1989-1995, then embarked on a solo career and later founded two record labels. She became a hitmaker for other artists, writing “Beautiful” for Christina Aguilera, “Get the Party Started” for Pink, and co-writing the Gwen Stefani hit “What You Waiting For?” She was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2015.

Shania Twain is in a “celebratory mood,” and when the Queen of Country Pop is gearing up to celebrate, you better believe that good things are on the way. She proved this on Tuesday, August 15th, by announcing that she’ll be returning to Las Vegas in 2024 for another residency, this time at the Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.
Titled “Shania Twain: Come On Over — The Las Vegas Residency — All the Hits!” the new run of shows is set to be a celebration of Twain’s legendary career and will feature a setlist lined with, well, all her hits. “I am excited to be returning to Vegas for my third residency, ‘Come On Over,’” Twain said in a statement. “Performing in Vegas is a huge honor and I love this theater… I am in a celebratory mood and there is nowhere better to party than Vegas, so I hope you all join me!
