This film was inspired by an incident that happened to writer/director Vincent James Prendergast while working at a Best Buy in College Station, TX. While using the restroom, an unseen man in another stall began ranting hysterically at the top of his lungs and the writer was afraid to make a sound that would alert this unseen crazy person to his presence.

Crazy credits
After the credits finish, there is an audio clip of an outtake from production where the director discovered while using the bathroom being used as a filming location that there genuinely was no toilet paper (just like the plot of the film).
