Prayers is a beautiful short that leaves the viewer with one question, "Can faith save you in your time of need?" That's the center plot in Prayers, as a college student must face and overcome a dire crisis... Through faith.
Prayers was shot gorgeously by director Michael Licisyn. Beautiful shots of the church prove the director has a firm grasp of cinematography. The location chosen for the church was all around great, and really helped to convey the mood.
Musically, Prayers really moves the viewer. With a vivid and powerful score, it's safe to say this is a film that will leave you thinking -- and fit with emotions.
All in all, Prayers is a very powerful short that I would one day like to see converted into a feature film. I see good things in the future for Michael Licisyn and all those that worked on this film.
