The line of dialogue, "One riot, one ranger", apparently derived from the cultural lore of Texas rangers, first featured in writer-director David Mamet's film 'House of Games' (1987), then in Mamet's 'Spartan' (2004), and then also later in Mamet's "The Unit" (2006-2009) television series.
