This film was considered "lost" but was found in the home of a former projectionist in 2019. It was restored by Mark H. Heller with funding from the Academy Film Archive and Streamline Cinema.
Shot in six days on a budget of less than $15,000. Films like this one were very popular in small-town theaters as they were rented for a low flat fee, enabling the house to make a profit, whereas they might lose money on a big-budget major studio release with a much higher rental fee.
Kenneth's house, with the unusual-looking bridge to the garage, was built in 1923 with 4 bedrooms and about 2,400 square feet. In 2021 it is valued at over $2,200,000.
