An entertaining story based around quirky small town characters, lacking the pretentiousness of so many similar indie films. Perhaps not entirely original or surprising, but one film like this is worth ten Hollywood blockbusters.
I came across this film by sheer fluke. Surfing through the TV guide, the description was intriguing enough to make me want to watch the show, and I was rewarded. It was funny but not over the top, clever but still charming. This is the sort of film that, when it finished, I just wanted to write down its name to make sure I caught it if it is played again. 8/10.
