It was my favourite TV show when I was about 13 and was really excited to see BBC was repeating it in around 2005, partly because I couldn't believe I had such good taste aged 13! But it was better than I remember! Unfortunately it was taken off air mid-run, I read somewhere that it was because parents complained it frightened their children!! although there is nothing scary about it! It is the super sweet tale of monsters working in a café, with a strong leaning to fair play, compassion and a whole lotta love! the 3 heroes of the show, Igor, Frankie and Mummy ALWAYS win over the show's bully, their boss Baroness DeMonstro. Quite manic, but genuinely good comedy! It's wonderful and pure escapism!

Every morning before I went to primary school I used to watch this, my brother and me loved it. It was funny and ever so slightly BBC'd over the top. It is based around a bunch of monsters that run a café, always trying to avoid and play jokes on their manager the countess. Not scary but very funny. Sometimes they replay it in the holidays at about 7am, it was on recently this summer and I got to experience it all again. So much better than anything the BBC does for CBBC now. The acting wasn't bad, I guess it's just a kids show, but still it was great when you were 4/5/6, very imaginative. BBC bring this and other classic shows back, Tracy Beaker is rubbish!
