A bachelor party, a wedding and (maybe) Schmidt’s first name, oh my!
When New Girl airs its milestone 100th episode next Tuesday (8/7c), the Fox comedy will kick off a run of very eventful spring episodes, most of them in preparation for Cece and Schmidt’s long-awaited nuptials.
But even before Cece takes that walk down the aisle, there’s other business for the show to attend to, including Jess’ return from jury duty, her first face-to-face interactions with Reagan and bachelor/bachelorette soirees that sound absolutely insane.

The overarching theme of this week's 19 Kids and Counting was health and wellness.
Michelle, 49, opened up about her struggle with disordered eating as a teen, and the whole Duggar clan got involved in getting fit. (Even Josie, 5, flexed her tiny muscles!)
Let's Get Physical, Physical
Michelle was visited by her childhood best friend Cindy, whom she's known since the first grade. The two went to the gym together, and Michelle opened up about her "[struggle] with self-worth" as a teen, "before I came into the Lord."

While much of the focus of this season of 19 Kids & Counting has so far been placed on Jessa and Ben Seewald's wedding planning, this week paid some more attention to Josh, Anna and even Jim Bob and John David.
Of course, nothing in the Duggar family is more exciting than a wedding – save for perhaps a birth – and so we still got plenty of behind-the-scenes looks at Jessa and Ben's eventual 1,000-person wedding extravaganza.
John David Spends Some Qt with His ParentsAs well as being a police officer, John David, 25, works construction – and he decided to show Michelle, 48, how to use an excavator.

The American Pie boys on growing up and making the third sequel to their smash-hit gross-out comedy
"I don't know that we'll necessarily top the first movie," says Thomas Ian Nicholas, a star of the American Pie teen-film series, which started in 1999 and will next month expand to a fourth instalment, American Pie: Reunion. "But I feel this is the best sequel."
It must be tricky territory for the franchise's five leads; bittersweet. On the one hand, the thirtysomethings clearly delight in one another's company, tirelessly joking and jostling in a London hotel. On the other hand, none would have thought, back when American Pie kickstarted five careers, they'd be 13 years in the same roles: sensitive Jim (Jason Biggs), insensitive Stifler (Seann William Scott), brawny Oz (Chris Klein), brainy Finch (Eddie Kaye Thomas) and Nicholas's straight man, Kevin. These names, Thomas says, "will forever be stamped on our foreheads."

Slowly but surely, the cast of cult MTV comedy sketch show "The State" have been taking over Hollywood. Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant have made millions as screenwriters of films like "The Pacifier" and "Night at the Museum," while Michael Showalter and Michael Ian Black have both moved into writing and directing as well, with "The Baxter" and "Wedding Daze," respectively.
But probably the purest 'State' movie to date was "Role Models," the 2008 comedy written by David Wain and Ken Marino, with A-list buddy Paul Rudd, which went on to be something of a sleeper hit. Unfortunately, when the trio returned a few weeks ago with the Judd Apatow-produced "Wanderlust," the film tanked, but it's unlikely that means we're done seeing films from the show's alumni. Indeed, Marino, along with fellow "The State" cast-member Joe LoTruglio, who stole the show in both "Role Models" and "Wanderlust," are already working on future projects.

Isla Fisher isn't exactly known for her dramatic chops. She made her splash in Hollywood as the unhinged Gloria in "Wedding Crashers" and since then has mostly done stuff like "The Pleasure of Your Company," "Definitely, Maybe" and "Confessions of a Shopaholic." That said, she did impress in the underseen thriller "The Lookout" and it looks like she's ready to make a big step away from the gigs that typically earn her payday. THR reports that Fisher is in negotiations to join Baz Luhrmann's "The Great Gatsby." The bound-to-be-epic adaptation already has Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire and Carey Mulligan set…...

MGM taking 'Pleasure' in North America
NEW YORK -- In something of a coup for producer-financier GreeneStreet Films and fellow producers Fugitive Films, MGM has nabbed all North American rights to the romantic comedy The Pleasure of Your Company. Writer-director Michael Ian Black's feature, which had its world premiere this month at the Toronto International Film Festival, centers on an unlucky guy (Jason Biggs) who dresses up like cupid to propose to his girlfriend and ends up scaring her to death. With some goading from a friend, he gives romance another try by spontaneously proposing to a waitress (Isla Fisher), only to experience more misadventures on the road to love. Edward Herrmann, Joe Pantoliano, Joanna Gleason, Margo Martindale and Rob Corddry round out the cast. Black created the TV series Stella and starred in The Baxter and Wet Hot American Summer. Pleasure and the Vietnam war thriller Rescue Dawn are the only two films in this month's Toronto fest to be picked up by a major distributor -- in both cases, MGM. After serving as a distribution arm for companies such as the Weinstein Co. and Bauer Martinez, MGM in its latest moves is acquiring more features of its own like Pleasure.

TORONTO -- For the first time in its 31-year history, the Toronto International Film Festival will this year offer Sales Premiere screenings, a program shown exclusively to buyers, along with a new marketing initiative allowing sales agents to promote their films via transit system posters and 3-D displays. The trial program, available to a limited selection of buyers who purchase a premium pass, will feature 10 films. They include The Bubble, El Cantante, The Dog Problem, The Fall, Hula Girls, The Magic Flute, Penelope, The Pleasure of Your Company, Rescue Dawn and a film still in negotiations at press time.
