A shocker. Hear some of your favorite Banshees and Creatures songs mangled by sluggish tempos, clumsy arrangements and Siouxsie's colorless vocals. Fronting what was essentially a greatly expanded Creatures, she has (almost) reigned in the foghorn-alike pitch control which marred the 'Seven Year Itch' DVD, but at the cost of vocal power. What you get is the Siouxsie Show, played by an anonymous collective and sung by a woman singing to herself. The unfortunately brief 100 Club material included in the extras has much more spirit. If you really must have everything by Siouxsie, then by all means purchase this, but be prepared for another disappointing DVD. Why is there no Banshees retrospective 'best of', with rare/early footage and such? How about a documentary? Somebody?
