I couldn't stand seeing this magnificent effort with such a poor rating on IMDb. I wouldn't spend a single breath trying to convince any of those who didn't like it that they should like it, but I will say, as someone who spends a LOT of time watching and making abstract journey/meditation video that Jean-Luc Bozzoli has created a timeless masterpiece with Merkabah. It's a shame not to be able to see it in HD these days, but I would definitely watch it again. Technically it's executed very well, and is based on a very advance vision. If you have any interest or experience in mind expansion, spirituality, meditation, etc, or are just open-minded and looking for a mind- blowing experience, give Voyage of a Star Seed a try.

As Sun Ra said, every disc you buy represents somebody's hopes and dreams. Given the age (1998) the animation is impressive, sneaking in Platonic solids transforming and zooming about as the camera eye sails deeper into the model. Right there, this wasn't easy to make, look at the diffusion textures made of telescope images, yeah, it's trippy and the disembodied voice guide says 'tetrahedron' far too often, but it is well done, and in its own realm, it tells a story. I might have preferred images to enlightened us about their notions, but this isn't any recruiting video, it's of its time, esoteric fan-service for meditation whatever and there's nothing wrong with that.
Schizophrenics and intellectually challenged that are addicted to hallucinogens might like to meditate with it. Way overrated by shill spambots. The nicest thing I could say, is it is somewhat artistic.
