The stories while the main characters went to college together took place in Chiang Mai University in northern Thailand. However, the university did not allow the staffs to shoot the film inside the campus. Therefore, they had to choose several scenic locations near by to shoot the film.
During the filming, Siraphan Wattanajinda, Dakanda, was also studying engineering at the actual Chiang Mai University.
The three main characters represent Thailand's three different regions. Kaiyoi is from Bangkok, central Thailand. Dakanda from the North. Nui, the nurse, represents the South. Each of them also spoke different Thai dialects when interacted with local characters in the movie.
