When the character of Eddie Garcia is trying to stop Bella Flores' character from hurting Paquito Diaz's character she told him "Ako ang huhusga" (I will be the one to judge). This is a reference to a film released a year before which stars Fernando Poe Jr. and also includes Garcia, Diaz, and Monica Herrera who played the main characters in this film.
The main premise of this film is quite similar to the film Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (1988) which was in turn, a remake of the film Bedtime Stories (1964).
