    Pretty Good

While I like this game I was expecting more from the character development, but I guess you cant have everything.

Many people may not like the controls the first couple times you play this (I didn't)but if you keep playing it will be better. I guess the only flaw is the development and the controls, but all in all, a good game. I would have liked another mode too, like a game board one like in Budikai 2 I think it was...Another thing was the moves of some of the characters. It just seemed weird only having 3 attacks, but oh well, the next one.

the beginning of Dragon Ball budokai tenkaichi 4

Then this was the very beginning of the dragon ball saga budokai tenkaichi is this game It was released in 2005 So the purpose of this game which was the first game that had seen hundreds of characters never happened in a Dragon Ball video game and for me it really wasvery incredible then I liked this game but the reason why I didn't give it a much higher face is that I'll tell you what the defects are So the graphics won't be really crap but it's not even beautiful and then the movements that they use when I play They're too slow and thentransformations can't be done But why can't they be done I never understood And then in this game there are only a few things that don't just concern the Dragon Ball Z sagas it only has a few characters from films and GT I hope the rest of the game is good enoughAh I want to mention two things it's very interesting the historical morality that also has alternative stories or those stories that happened if the bad guys won and then the second one and when there's the challenge mode with 100 good characters this one won't be one of the the better it is thoughquite ok to conclude the vote 7.

Another acceptable addition to the stable

Call me old fashioned, but I much preferred the button mashing required in DBZ:B1&2 for crushing my opponents. 3 & T are really starting to make the cool attacks more difficult to access than they need to be. In addition to changes to the controls & button mashing requirements, it's visually the same as 2&3. The voice acting is as well done as the previous installments, without much repeated (except for what is unavoidable: ka-me-ha-me-HA!)

Still, with all the characters & all the abilities, it's the perfect (well almost) fan's fantasy vehicle! Fans from all spectrums, Luke warm to die hard, will be thrilled. I don't imagine any of the DBZ games appeal to anyone who isn't already practising the kamehameha when no one is looking though.

The better control of the flight ability is an enjoyable addition. The ranking system is a fun goody too. I suppose that every game has it's pluses & minuses, perks & drawbacks, but this one has the best potential so far as a way to pound your friends into humiliating submission!

    • Trivia
Only game in the "Budokai: Tenkaichi" series that doesn't allow transformations during battle; only allowing transformed states to be chosen from the versus menu. It is fair to say that this was a poor choice by developers as further installments allowed transformations during battle.
