One disaster plot used in the paranormal scheme. Good idea, and very simple too, but not that new in ONE STEP BEYOND TV show. However, I like this episode, a story that leaves you bitter after watching. It is riveting from beginning to the end. Once more this story takes place not in the modern time but in the beginning of the twentieth century, and related to a true story - this time, I agree with host and director John Newland - the San Francisco big earthquake. The main bellboy character is engrossing and justifies the watching of this episode. Somewhere it is also a bit social in the writing, showing two different classes, the rich who despise the poor people, here this simple employee whom no one believes, and the rest of the population. But the earthquake make everyone on the same scale.
