Department of Special Research gained interest in Sydney's role involving the page 47 and they began their own investigation regarding it. To save herself, Sydney needs to steal 500 year old Rambaldi codes from Vatican to decipher Rambaldi's prophecy. Meanwhile. Sloane gets suspicious that one of the Alliance's members switched sides and is now working with The Man.

After retrieving Page Forty Seven from Sloane for the CIA she didn&#39;t expect it would land her in so much trouble but when the Department of Special Research see it they bring her in for a series of tests to see if she matches the person in the picture. The key they used to decipher the code was reverse engineered by the CIA so it is suggested they get their hands on the original key; the problem is to do that Sydney and Vaughn would have to break into the vaults in The Vatican. Meanwhile SD-6 has identified The Man as Alexander Khasinau and Sloane is determined that The Alliance, of which SD-6 is part, must go to war with Alexander Khasinau&#39;s organisation. He is unsure how the vote will go so meets with Edward Poole, head of SD-9 to determine which way the various members will vote. Poole says he has evidence that one of them, a friend of Sloane&#39;s called Jean Briault, is in fact in Khasinau&#39;s pay. Sloane meets with Briault and kills him then gets a real shock when the final votes are cast. This was a pretty good episode; mainly because of Sloane&#39;s story, Ron Rifkin is great as always in the roll but the highlight was the surprise appearance of Roger Moore as Edward Poole; a character as devious as he was suave; he made it believable that somebody as suspicious as Sloane could get fooled so completely. Sydney&#39;s stories usually contain plenty of action but apart from a brief chase at the start and the break-in in the Vatican, which was fairly pedestrian, that was lacking. The Department of Special Research seems a fairly paranoid bunch so I wouldn&#39;t be surprised if they prove more of a threat later and CIA man Steven Haladki is becoming more unlikeable by the episode which is a credit to actor Joey Slotnick. By the end of the episode nothing has been resolved but I&#39;m sure the suspicion of Sydney will be over soon; if it isn&#39;t SD-6 would wonder where she had disappeared to!

The Prophecy

A special department of the CIA, dealing with fringe science and paranormal phenomena, gets hold of Rambaldi&#39;s drawing of a woman who looks remarkably like Sydney Bristow, and puts her through a series of physical, mental and psychological tests. Meanwhile, Sloane discovers the identity of &quot;The Man&quot;, and tries to ensure that in the upcoming meeting of the 12 leaders of the Alliance, the majority of the votes will be in favor of taking instant aggressive action against him. &quot;The Prophecy&quot; does not quite live up to the promise of the previous episode, &quot;Page 47&quot;, and the &quot;Syd &amp; Vaughn breaking into the Vatican&quot; operation in the middle is not only too far-fetched, but also feels tacked on. Still, this episode offers an interesting look into the machinations of both CIA and the Alliance, and its best part is the sub-plot with Sloane learning that one of his old friends, and the man who recruited him, may be a traitor. Roger Moore makes an awesome guest appearance as the head of SD-9, and he has a scene near the end, right after the votes of the Alliance members have been counted, that is pure classic Roger Moore! *** out of 4.

A 500 year old writing says something and they can arrest her because of that :) such beliefs. Poor... So, this series is becoming science-fiction, supernatural or was it always like that?

after seeing the page n. 47 which strangely contained a drawing for Sidney herself , Voun can&#39;t explain anything for her as he has no idea why Rambaldy drew Sid or even what the prophecy says!! and as usual SD6 is still checking the book which Sid replaced the page from while she is completely busy mind thinking about that prophecy and just when Sid is ready to have fun with will and frenzy she find herself completely trapped down so she walks normally so as not to expose herself to her friends if she ran, then finally she learns what the prophecy said : that this woman is the holder of Rambaldy&#39;s ideas so hold her strongly &amp; keep her locked as her anger can change the strongest unit to complete ashes.!!
