    Characters taking shape

Lot of Archie giving his views on life. Very funny stuff. Carroll O'Connor had to fall into a tight space. Lucky he didn't get hurt. Edith's story showing more evidence she's a little on the dippy side. I really like when Archie and Mike share their views without screaming. Not a lot of Sally Struthers yet. Lionel lights up each scene he's in.

    • Trivia
First mention of Archie having been stationed in Foggia, Italy during World War II.
    • Goofs
It is very hard to believe that Mike does not know who John Dillinger is.
    • Quotes

Archie: They put a woman's heart in a man's body.

      Mike Stivic: So?

Archie: So, it's hard enough for a man and woman to live together in the same house, never mind the same body.
