A bit of filler here.

Some episodes of "Brooklyn Bridge" are ones that are important to the overall story of the Silver family, whereas some others seem more like filler--nice episodes but ones that don't directly connect to any of the other episodes...and "Nun But the Brave" is one of these filler episodes.

The story has two plots. First, Nathaniel has gotten a part-time job helping the local grocer, Mr. Cardini (played very well by the familiar character actor Robert Proskey). Second, when Katie prays for help with an upcoming exam and her teacher then drops dead, she somehow blames herself...even though the nun was old and quite mean. Both are worked out by the end of the episode and all is well in Brooklyn.

The episode is a slight one but as usual, it's entertaining and well made. Well worth seeing....just not one of the really memorable ones.
