Dixon is on the trail of Doug Beale, who's gone AWOL from the army, and is hiding out in his girlfriend's house, he's armed, and he's angry.
I've been quite impressed with the first batch of episodes I've seen, I didn't have quite the same enjoyment with this one, it is very, very raw, to be honest this one felt as though it came from the early 1940's, it looks and feels very early.
It goes on a little too much this one, there's not enough tension, it's all a little too dull and straightforward, you just never felt that Beale would pull that trigger.
The only thing I enjoyed, was the presence of Kenneth Cope, he's rather good here, quite dashing in his youth.
You have hand it to Dixon, he didn't half have a varied career, he's seen a tonne of action.
4/10.
