    Buffy Had a Little Lamb

After eating their "Crispy Flakes" for breakfast, Buffy (Anissa Jones) and Jody (Johnny Whitaker) enter a box-top cereal contest. They want to win the grand prize, a houseboat. The consolation prize call comes when no adult can speak on the phone. For reasons unexplained, the cereal company does not need to speak to an adult. The twins must choose between a child encyclopedia and a baby lamb. They don't know what an encyclopedia is, so they pick the lamb. It is around Easter time so they could eat the lamb, but they decide to keep it as a pet. "Snowball" is beloved by the kids. Uncle Bill (Brian Keith) has a difficult time convincing them to give up the animal. Returning from an extended break due to illness, Mr. French (Sebastian Cabot) returns with this episode and remains with the series until its end.

    Stone-Hearted People Need Not Apply

Excellent Disney-Like Episode of FAMILY AFFAIR... The little twins win a baby lamb in a cereal contest and think of it like any child would as their new little pet puppy or kitten. They don't understand why a Manhattan high rise building can't allow pet lambs in the apartment. Uncle Bill has to very tenderly and cleverly convince the kids that the children's zoo is the best place for it, and the episode thankfully protects the viewers from having to witness a long drawn out scene of seperation from kids and pet. An excellent episode that substitutes a baby lamb for what could be any pet that a child has to be separated from.. But stone hearted persons and animal haters need not apply because cold hearts cannot be moved by children or pet seperations.. They should go watch NCIS or some other grisly morbid show that's more for their types.

    • Trivia
In the scene where "Buffy" and "Jody" are walking the Lamb, they walk past a storefront with a large bay window. You can see what looks like a red dress. This is the exact window that was the front of "Filby's" and the same dress seen in the 1960 version of "The Time Machine."
