Goofs
The Blind Priest says he's laughing because he's listening to Mr. Bean on the Airline Radio headset and not because he's throwing newspaper at the back of Father Ted's head. "Mr. Bean" is visual comedy, the character rarely says anything. This is almost certainly intended as a joke.

Brilliant.

Whilst returning home from a pilgrimage, the plane carrying Ted, Dougal and Jack runs into some difficulty.

I love this episode, it feels like a true homage to the many disaster aircraft movies. It has some terrific moments, Father Ted's annoyance at whoever is pinging him, Jack's annoyance with the man sat next to him, but this all comes down to the scene where Dougal is in the cockpit, that look on his face, it's one of the best ever moments.

Always a joy to see Noel and Father Fintan Day, both are on great form, and as bonkers as they ever were.

A great way to end Series 2. 9/10.
