Walter May Be An Alcoholic

After a wild drunken party at the house, Maude worries Walter may have a drinking problem.

A very good episode, first of a two parter. It begins with a very funny scene as hung over Maude wakes up to find an equally drunk Arthur in bed with her! Walter was so bombed he passed out on the couch. Maude and Arthur vow to give up drinking for a month and Walter also reluctantly agrees. There is a funny Walter/Arthur scene where they drink Shirley Temples at lunch, though Walter spikes his. There is another funny scene when Walter ruins Phillip's birthday cake. Things suddenly turn serious when drunken Walter suddenly turns nasty and slaps Maude, setting up Part 2 in the next episode.
