    That's Some Absurd Outrageousness

There are some really good episodes of MV, but this is not one of them. Thanks to shows like Columbo, Hill Street Blues, and Blues Clues, TV audiences learned enough by 1988 about police procedure to know about restraining orders and fingerprint analysis to know that law enforcement would not allow this series of catastrophic failures in victim protection to happen. Even by 80's standards, the story, logic, and psychology of the characters is on a child-like level. Granted, I have not seen all the MV episodes, but this is the 2nd worst I've seen, #1 being the UFO/Paranormal episode. I can only wonder what the main cast of MV thought while filming this episode.

20 minutes in, I shut this garbage off.

Yet another mail-it-in episode with an evil bad guy, helpless victim and host of other corny, one-dimensional archetypes. The writing on this is so thin, Karen Carpenter would have been envious. I really don't understand how MV could produce so many of these worse than bad episodes that could have only appealed to the dumbest of dumb audiences. Then again, the show only cracked the top 10 in ratings once (#8 for season 2), so maybe the audiences (like myself now) were so insulted by these bottom feeding episodes that they simply tuned out.

I didn't finish this episode, I didn't feel I had to since I'm sure that one of the vice squad (probably Trudy this time out) got to blow away the rapist in the climactic scene just as he's about to pull a repeat rape on the innocent victim. Who cares.

After the last episode with the doll killer, I've decided not to waste any more time sitting through the worst the MV producers have to offer. I think I made the right decision. From here on in, if the show smells within the first 15 minutes, then it's safe to say it's a turd...and I hate accidentally stepping on turds.

    Predictably Lousy

I gave it a 3 only because the intro was sort of interesting, there were smidgens of significant guest acting and Crockett's wardrobe hearkened to seasons past, which was cool. But other than his wardrobe, there was nothing that related to the cool early seasons but everything there to remind you that MV is well on it's way down the drain.

There were outrageous, if not absurd stories in seasons 1 & 2 but they were often if not always backed up with moody music, witty dialog and awesome chase scenes. This had only absurd and outrageous which you figure out about half way through.

Another episode that I watched all the way through only to say I've seen them all.

Crockett's wardrobe in this episode is damn good....

The title may sound like it's not a good episode at all, but it really is. Miami Vice episodes which focus on the other members of the vice squad aren't that bad. This one focuses on Trudy the most. Jan Hammer's score is good (Why hasn't he released any of those scores which were composed for the season four episodes????) and suits the story. At the start, I didn't think it was going to be an interesting episode but about half an hour through, it got a bit better. Crockett's wardrobe is great (that short light blue jacket he wears towards the end is so good) and that's all I have to say. rating 8/10. Miami Vice is a great show which has it all.

I don't think this is Miami Vice anymore

I'm having a hard time figuring out if this is Miami Vice anymore, seems like I'm watching really terrible episodes of Law and Order or Criminals Minds.

From the Start of Season 4 with the Court Room Episode, that was only decent because of the Meg Foster. She saved the episode. As for the rest of the Episodes, from Episode 2 until 17 now, every episode has been weird, boring or just pointless to watch.

So with, Hell Hath no Fury, what is this anymore? No shootouts, no action, back and forth camera shots of weird facial expressions, a boring storyline. Even Olivia Brown who is extremely beautiful and sexy couldn't save this episode.

I'm almost finish watching Season 4 DVD disc, most likely I'm going to give this disc to someone else or the trash, because Season 1-3 has been amazing , but Season 4 so far is terrible.

    • Trivia
The computer Crockett uses is an Amiga 1000. The same model was used in several episodes throughout season 4. Later it was replaced by an Amiga 2000.
    • Goofs
When Crockett and Tubbs are driving to Hatch's address, the footage is reversed -- street sign lettering is backward, the Ferrari's single side-view mirror is on the passenger side of the car instead of the driver's side, etc.
