This is the last actually good episode of Tales from the Crypt. Everything that follows is garbage--just utter garbage. Do yourself a favor and Stop Here!
To be fair, most of the credit for this episode comes from the filming style of Russel Mulcahy (the guy who directed the one and only Highlander movie worth watching). Without his talents, this might have been a disappointing entry. The acting is fine, the story is serviceable, the ending isn't quite as predictable as many others.
There's gore, mystery, twisted visuals, possibly supernatural events--or maybe just hallucinations from fever dreams, dynamic camera work, and over-the-top accents.

This episode is set in London; if you don't recognise the scene at the beginning, with the train, the exaggerated accents are a giveaway. Two crooks commit a robbery on the orders of Mr Big. It is literally an in and out job, but they end up shooting each other when one decides to double cross the mastermind. One of them gets away, apparently unscathed, but in fact he is wounded quite badly. Taking the stash of diamonds he holds up in an establishment that might just be England's answer to the Hotel California.
What follows is a horrifying series of hallucinations, so much so that you begin to wonder if he isn't already dead. He isn't, but there are the usual problems with dream sequences. There is no real resolution to this except the bad guy getting his just deserts.
