I'm not sure why I rented this mess.I had never heard of it and I resisted the urge to rent it each time I went to the rental store but with nothing else drawing my eye I rented this crap.I should have resisted it one more time.
A young woman has these dreams where she sees people get killed .After her mom is killed , just like she had dreamed it, and the murderer is never caught her dreams slow down a bit.But then one day the bad dreams start up again and she feels like she must get all her friends that she has been dreaming about together ...in one place...in the middle of nowhere.... in the middle of the night....in an old abandoned farm house.....with a scarecrow in a cornfield.....yeah every cliché' in the book is here.
So while they all huddle together and wait for something,we are not really told what , we get to see the dreams she has been having and they are really long and boring and I'm guessing they are just there to pad out the running time of this crap fest.
This movie had no real special effects and not even a hint of a bare breast nor any thing else for me to even slightly recommend it.The acting and plot were just plain bad.In fact this whole movie looked like it was just made up along the way.Don't let the box fool you, this movie isn't good, nor scary nor anything really.
I gave it a three,I must be getting soft in my old age.

There really aren't words to describe how bad this movie is. And I like bad horror movies. I take a low IMDb score as a challenge, and quite often, they're really not all that bad. There are usually a few redeeming qualities, like cool camera angles, scene transitions, symbolic shots, or at least a hot chick.
It wasn't just that this movie makes no sense. Or that the dialog was idiotic. Or that the actors, director, editor, and writer have no business making movies. I can handle most of these things, if there's at least one interesting scene or bit of dialog. This movie had nothing. Even if you can overcome the hopeless concept (why is it safer to be at an abandoned house in the middle of nowhere with no power, phone, running water, etc?), the agonizingly long "dream sequences" take up over half the movie, and have surprisingly little to do with the plot.
I've seen some really bad horror movies, but this one just might top the list as the absolute worst ever. I can't imagine someone intentionally making this movie. It actually made me angry that someone could put such filth on film.

This movie was awful. Awful!! It had horrible acting, a terrible plot, bad characters, awful camera angles, bad filming, and no emotion! The character Tony was horrible and the worst actor ever!!!!!!!! Seriously! The plot and movie was pointless and I hated it!Me, me cousins Ashlee and Justin, and my sister Jennifer rented the movie cuz we wanted a horror flick. We thought it looked scary, so we rented it. Big mistake! We laughed twice. Two parts were hilarious! So rent it for that! Fast forward to those parts then turn it off. For good. it is terrible and stupid and it had dumb acting! Don't rent it because it is so dumb!! And you'll hate it! To the extreme!

Did me and this person below me watch the same movie? This movie was amazing. The actors really lucked out having this movie in their resume. I cant wait to see new work they come out with. Im also excited to see if the director is going to consider making a sequel for the growing number of fans out there. Storyline is amazing, it will keep you at the edge of your seat the entire film! And you wont know what hit you at the end. You'll definitely feel like you owe the video store more money for this rental. Put the kids to sleep and let grown up fun start. If you get into this, i would highly recommend the SAW series, Resident evil, stay alive and campfire stories to all of you. And phantasm.
I've seen many bad, low budget horror movies in my time, but this just might be the worst...it has the look of a high school project which received a failing grade...aside from not being scary or suspenseful at all, the story is completely nonsensical...I don't often review movies, but I felt compelled to warn others away from this one...

This movie is great. I enjoyed every moment of this movie. If you don't like this movie you probably have no class or style. Everything about this movie makes me want to live a long life in hopes of enjoying something even one tenth as great as this. As far as rentals go, this movie is a must. Performances by Doug and Jeff Lee rank as the best overall. I don't want to give anything away, but the wood chipper scene steals the show. If you read a bad review of this movie the reviewer obviously doesn't understand that Heebie Jeebies is supposed to be a comedy/horror flick, w/ the comedy coming first. In conclusion, see this movie now, don't waste a minute more of your pathetic life.
If you need two directors (Doug Evans, Michael Hawkins-Burgos) to make a flick then I guessed it would been good. Well, it wasn't. And it shows, Doug stopped directing and Michael only did some shorts.
Most of the actors only did this flick, some went further just doing one more. I didn't had anything against the acting, it was mediocre but it was the script that was really boring. There are so many things going on without really understanding why we have all those stories. Then you have a burglar, then a killer, than a prank, then someone in a car not that kosher. It just didn't work out and you just can't get involved with the characters.
Naturally being a horror I watched closely to see how they did the effects. On that part some things were okay but most of the killings are off-camera. I won't say it's gory even as there are bodies torn apart and some scene's do have a lot of red stuff it just didn't work.
It's so strange that being in a abandoned house, alone with your friends and having a scarecrow the boogey man didn't show up. No Jeebie-Heebie for me here.
Gore 0,5/5 Nudity 0/5 Story 1/5 Effects 1/5 Comedy 0/5

No, this isn't the great American horror movie, nor will it scare the pants off of you. But it does have a certain charm. The joy in watching this movie is the fun of seeing a group of young people who obviously had no feature-length movie-making experience, and no budget, put their heads together and make the most of what they had to work with.
The plot is a confused mess and defies all logic, as any other review of this movie will correctly tell you, but it did do one thing that a lot of much bigger budget horror movies I've seen in the past few years failed to do - it entertained me.
The wrap-around plot is nonsensical, some craziness about a girl getting a bunch of high school friends together in the most unsafe, isolated place she can find, because she's had dreams about their deaths that she thinks will come true, and she wants to protect them - by tricking them into gathering in the most unsafe, isolated place she can find.
Then we are thrust into her dreams, shown as three vignettes that could really stand alone as short films, which has led to this movie, for better or worse, being tagged with the "anthology" label. The first dream is kind of lame. The second one, though it doesn't really fit in with the film, if pretty amusing. The third vignette, however, is sharp and creepy, and contains the best performances in the movie.
The overall quality of the acting is better than one would expect for a no-budget movie, and there are some real flashes of cleverness in the direction. With a higher budget, these guys could probably put together a pretty good movie.
If you take it's lack of a budget into account, and you go into the movie with the attitude that you're going to enjoy it for what it is rather than question it, you'll probably get some enjoyment out of it.
And it has a cool twist ending that I did not see coming at all.

Cassandra (Bobbie Bo Westphal), a melancholy young woman, is frequently tormented by grisly premonitions over the violent deaths of her loved ones. By inviting all her intimate High School friends to an isolated farmhouse, she sincerely hopes it will keep them safe from harm. Sadly, their gruesome fates soon suggest otherwise! Including Heebie Jeebies sinisterly off-beat premise, likeable, natural performances, the genuine star of this unsettling, garotte taut indie horror is the thrillingly inventive screenplay. From the moment poor Cassandra arrives in this dilapidated property, you strongly sympathise with her increasing anguish as her companions are inventively slaughtered by a brutal, frustratingly unknowable maniac. An exciting, criminally undervalued low budget horror Bobby Dazzler, greatly overdue some splattery love, the well monikered Heebie Jeebies is, as Dan O'Bannon so rightly claims, a cut above the average identikill slasher.
