Man's Worst Friend

Let's be completely shallow here. Bonus marks for Tracy Scoggins. He's not stupid, Enn Reitel had a good feel in this episode.

The Optimist is a dog minder in Beverly Hills. Taking a poodle for a walk should be a doddle. He just did not bank on a big St Bernard as well.

The poodle runs off as he gets distracted by an attractive Lady Golfer (Tracy Scoggins.) He decides to show her his swing, the husband is less than impressed.

When he finds the poodle, she is covered in dye and needs to wash it off. Only to meet the daughter of the household. Another lovely girl and it is a case of anyone for tennis.

Later in the evening, there is a swanky party by the pool. The Optimist is the waiter. Now the daughter has eyes for him, later the Lady Golfer shows up.

No wonder he's so optimistic!

You can sense by now this series is some kind of wish dream of some middle aged men. Essentially the same plot is getting recycled.
