The Producers Guild on Saturday handed out it big feature film prize to Neon’s Anora, giving the indie comedy that won last spring’s Cannes Film Festival Palme d’Or a massive boost and its third major award in a little more than 24 hours, after winning Best Picture at the Critics Choice Awards on Friday and the DGA Awards only minutes earlier tonight.
In fact, while double wins tonight were back to back, a later start at the PGAs in Century City allowed Baker to make it from the DGA ceremony at the Beverly Hilton in time to hear his film’s name called at the Fairmont Century Plaza.
At the PGAs, Anora beat out fellow Darryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures nominees The Brutalist, A Complete Unknown, Conclave, Dune: Part Two, Emilia Pérez, A Real Pain, September 5, The Substance and Wicked.

Amongst the thousands of people who have lost their homes during the devastating Los Angeles wildfires this January, there are many familiar faces. This includes Carel Struycken, whose iconic presence has featured in numerous films and TV shows over the past several decades, including Barry Sonnenfeld’s Addams Family films and Twin Peaks, in which he played first The Giant, and then (in The Return) The Fireman.
Struycken may also be familiar from key roles in Men in Black, Gerald’s Game, Doctor Sleep, The Witches of Eastwick, and Star Trek: The Next Generation. The 76-year-old actor and his wife, who resided in Altadena, lost everything after the Eaton Fire burned through their neighborhood. Their son-in-law, Michael Anspach, has launched a GoFundMe to help support the family. “We’re so very thankful they were able to safely escape the oncoming blaze, but like so many others, they lost everything to the Eaton Fire.

According to speculations, the promise that Luffy has made to Loki is linked to him freeing the alleged One Piece villain in exchange for some kind of information on Luffy’s idol, Shanks. However, the concerning aspect of the promise is that Luffy has not talked about it with any of the members of the crew and is trying to hide it, which is uncanny for the Straw Hat captain.
Thus, it is safe to say that Luffy’s actions can have major...

Mandy Moore and her net worth are under scrutiny.
Like thousands upon thousands of others in Los Angeles, Mandy Moore rang in the first week of 2025 by fleeing her home along with her family.
The historic wildfires consumed many homes — most of which do not belong to celebrities.
When Moore shared a crowdfunding link for a relative, fans wondered about her own finances.

Hollywood is getting back to work as the Los Angeles wildfires continue to rage on. CBS is resuming production on four of its shows after being cleared by the company’s health and safety teams. “NCIS,” “NCIS: Origins,” “Poppa’s House” and “The Neighborhood” will all resume production on Monday.
The series that are returning to production will do so on closed sound stages, an insider told TheWrap. Those productions will be closely monitored by CBS’ security, health and safety teams throughout the day. Any cast or crew who is impacted by the fires and is unable to safely make it to set are encouraged not to return to work. They will continue to receive their regular pay.
However, not every CBS production will be returning. “After Midnight” and “The Price Is Right,” which are both filmed in front of live studio audiences, will not be filming new episodes on Monday,...

As the Los Angeles Fire Department (Lafd) continues to contain the raging wildfires that have devastated neighborhoods across Los Angeles, Palisades, Altadena, and Malibu, residents are now being permitted to return home and assess the damage.
The aftermath of the fires has been detrimental to communities with over 12,300 structures now predicted to have been destroyed. While the exact number of structures lost for each fire is still being assessed, the fires have tragically resulted in 21 fatalities and burned over 40,588 acres. Over 5,000 firefighters are currently battling the Palisades Fire, which is only 14% contained. Meanwhile, 3,000 firefighters are working to control the Eaton Fire, which is 33% contained. The economic toll is staggering, with projected losses exceeding $60 billion as 1 million homes and businesses remain without power.

Kim Kardashian, reality star and criminal justice advocate, has spoken out to support Southern California prison inmates who are risking their lives to battle the devastating Los Angeles wildfires.
In a statement shared on her Instagram Stories Saturday, Kardashian, 44, demanded higher wages for incarcerated firefighters, who earn as little as $1 an hour for their work alongside the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (Cal Fire).
“I have spent the last week watching my city burning and have seen and spoken to many firefighters who are up all night long using every ounce of their strength to save our community,” Kardashian wrote. “I see them as heroes.”
Over 1,000 incarcerated men and women have joined the fight against the fires, wearing orange prison jumpsuits and working side by side with professional firefighters. Their tasks include cutting fire lines, clearing vegetation to slow the flames, and performing support roles such as cooking and laundry.
