Mumbai, May 12 (Ians) Actor Roshan Kapoor, who plays the role of Maahir in ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2’, says he felt the pressure of his performance initially.
The actor is playing a comic character and Roshan admits that it’s not easy to make people laugh.
“It’s my first show with Balaji so, yes, there was pressure to play a funny character well. It’s an important character and requires a lot of screen presence. Yes, the pressure was there as to make someone laugh isn’t easy. You should have that punch and timings. There can be technical issues or if someone fumbles then you have to do another take. So again, you have to bring that comic timing and it gets tough.
To prepare for the role, Roshan did something unique.
“So, what I did before sleeping was that I watched some comedy like Kapil Sharma’s show.

Mumbai, March 24 (Ians) Veteran actor and politician Raj Babbar recalled working in the multi-starrer film ‘Hum Paanch’ in 1980 with director Bapu and producer Boney Kapoor. He shared a fun memory related to a dance sequence in the film and joked about himself and his co-actors Nasiruddin Shah, Gulshan Grover, and Uday Chandra by calling everyone a “good dancer” except Mithun Chakraborty.
Though in reality it was just the opposite. He said: “Back then, during the ‘Hum Paanch’ shoot, there were about 1,000-1,500 dancers, and it was Boney Kapoor’s first film. Nasiruddin Shah, Me, Gulshan Grover, and Uday Chandra were very good dancers who struggled with every move, while Mithun Chakraborty, who was a very bad dancer, nailed every step perfectly in just one shot. We all were tense seeing this. Our dance director at the time was Kamal(Kumar) ji, who was strict but a big star director.”

Ramayan, Circus, and Mahabharat have made a comeback on screen, and we are loving it. Here are the other shows which these TV actors wish would come back.
Amrita Prakash:?I think we had some beautiful shows on television in the 90s. There are some wonderful shows that I have grown up watching and performing in, which influenced me as a performer and a person.
I feel blessed to have been part of television during its golden age, in the late 90s and early 2000s- with shows like 'Rishtey' and 'star bestsellers' - which were completely story-centric. As opposed to the Trp-centric storyline we have today, back then every story was spun and told so beautifully, with performances that moved the soul. How I wish we would only bring back these shows to re watch but also to remake. I miss being a part of that wondrous era in Indian television.

Mumbai, Dec 3: Tusshar Kapoor never thought that he will be in main stream cinema when he was watching Hum Paanch cast of Radhika (Vidya Balan) in his sister Ekta Kapoor's serial. He was 35 years old on 20th November, 2011. He is busy promoting his film, The Dirty Picture, through out the length and breadth of the country. He has a priority list now being made for the films he will do and the films he will not be doing.
In Ekta's opinion Tusshar Kapoor is a introvert, kind hearted person. Tusshar now understands the importance, necessity, meaning of raising his voice so that he can stand up on his two feet. This is the best way to.
