GoldenTV, the Asian American Pacific Islander-focused streaming platform, has announced the premiere dates for its 2025 programming slate.

This year’s lineup includes the launch of “Stir the Pot,” a new talk show hosted by Kelly Mi Li, and “Crossing Over,” a docuseries that focuses on an all-aapi boy band from Hawaii. Both series mark their debut on GoldenTV and its sister cable channel ChimeTV, the only Asian American, English-language cable network. “Stir the Pot” premieres this Friday, while “Crossing Over” is set for release on May 1.

Fans of Pretty Little Liars will no doubt be thrilled to see Tammin Sursok and Brant Daugherty reuniting in a new Hallmark movie.

Airing as part of Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas programming event, the new movie, Trivia at St. Nick’s stars two Pretty Little Liars stars. In that show, Tamil Sursok played Jenna Marshall, while Brant Daugherty played Noel Kahn.

A new Van Halen box set, The Collection II, has been announced and will arrive on October 6th via Rhino.

Following the 2015 set, The Collection, which housed the band’s first six albums with David Lee Roth, The Collection II will cull the four Van Halen albums featuring singer Sammy Hagar in addition to several studio rarities and a B-side.

Jurassic Valley is set in 2030. We’re told that nations have been pushed increasingly apart and the world is on the brink of disaster. Reversing a lower court’s 2018 decision on the grounds of a perceived lack of an employment relationship to toss out Judd’s claims, a trio of Pasadena-based judges on the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has set the stage for a trial likely early next year.

“Their relationship consisted of an inherent power imbalance wherein Weinstein was uniquely situated to exercise coercion or leverage over Judd by virtue of his professional position and influence as a top producer in Hollywood,” Judge Mary H. Murguia wrote in the opinion (read it here) released Wednesday, flipping the nearly two-year-old ruling by Judge Philip Gutierrez.

An appeals court on Wednesday ruled that Ashley Judd can pursue a sexual harassment claim against Harvey Weinstein, finding that he held power over her career when he invited her to his room at the Peninsula Hotel in the mid-1990s.

The three-judge panel of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals reversed the lower court, which had thrown out the claim on the grounds that Judd was not Weinstein’s employee at the time of the meeting.

“(T)heir relationship consisted of an inherent power imbalance wherein Weinstein was uniquely situated to exercise coercion or leverage over Judd by virtue of his professional position and influence as a top producer in Hollywood,” wrote Judge Mary H. Murguia, for the panel. “Therefore, the district court erred when it dismissed Judd’s sexual harassment claim.”

So many VOD-centric dramas call to mind the direct-to-video Blockbuster fodder of yesteryear that it’s actually refreshing to come across one that’s more reminiscent of a cleverly plotted TV-movie from primetime of the 1970s. It’s quite easy to imagine “A Crooked Somebody” airing as an “ABC Movie of the Week” during the Polyester Era with, say, Monte Markham and Robert Culp doing yeoman service in the lead roles and a good 20 minutes or so shaven from the narrative to allow for commercial breaks. On the other hand, it’s even easier to simply enjoy it as a satisfyingly crafted entertainment that doesn’t try to reinvent the wheel, but does take a few surprising detours from well-trodden genre paths.

Updated with statement from Weinstein’s rep: Ashley Judd has filed a lawsuit against Harvey Weinstein alleging that his pattern of retaliation, defamation, and sabotage against women who refused his sexual advances damaged her career.

The suit’s claims partly hinge on the news reports about Peter Jackson and Fran Walsh wanting to cast Judd in their Lord of the Rings movies backed by Weinstein’s Miramax in 1998. The suit says that, in retaliation for Judd rebuffing Weinstein, he “torpedoed Ms. Judd’s incredible professional opportunity” when he told Jackson and Walsh “that [his] studio had had a ‘bad experience’ with Ms. Judd, and that Ms. Judd was a ‘nightmare’ to work with and should be avoided ‘at all costs.’ ”

“With those baseless smears, Weinstein succeeded in blacklisting Ms. Judd and destroying her ability to work on what became a multibillion-dollar franchise with 17 Academy Award wins and

many more nominations,” the suit reads.

Ashley Judd filed suit in Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday, accusing Harvey Weinstein of retaliating against her because she refused his sexual advances.

Judd contends that Weinstein smeared her reputation to director Peter Jackson, causing him not to cast her in “The Lord of the Rings.”

“Mr. Weinstein’s abusive conduct toward others has caused no end of damage to aspiring actors and others in the film and entertainment industry,” Judd said in a statement. “As my experience and the experience of others shows, even a few false statements from Mr. Weinstein could destroy potentially career-changing professional opportunities. It’s time that Mr. Weinstein be held accountable for that conduct and for the ways in which he’s damaged careers.”

Judd is seeking damages for defamation, sexual harassment and violations of California’s unfair business competition law.

Marvel has done well creating their shared movie universe, displaying far better execution with their properties than their rival DC Comics. Using 2008’s Iron Man as a launching pad, The Marvel Cinematic Universe has become a box office juggernaut, executing phase after phase with near perfection.

While having massive success in theaters, Marvel has slowly been building a secondary universe on the small screen. Beginning in 2013 with Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for ABC, and then teaming up with Netflix to bring a grittier, more adult show with 2015’s Daredevil. Marvel’s movie universe tends to make use of the bigger and more mainstream characters, while the TV shows have focused on the lesser known Marvel properties such as Jessica Jones and Iron Fist.

The 20-year-old singer prepared for her first concert in nearly two and half years with a surprise concert in Pioneertown, California, on Friday.

The 20-year-old singer-songwriter has released her first single since 2014 -- and "Green Light" was worth the wait. Not only did Lorde drop her latest track on Thursday, she also unveiled a music video to go with it. Watch below.

"Green Light" will be featured on Lorde's highly anticipated sophomore album, Melodrama, due out this summer. The track was produced by Lorde, Jack Antonoff and Frank Dukes.

A few weeks back, Lrm had a story where Greg Berlanti (Creator of Black Lightning and all the CW DC shows) said that it would be highly unlikely that the worlds would crossover if it even existed. One of our ace reporters here -- oh, who am I kidding, it was just me -- wrote that he did not actually say, "No." Additionally, I speculated how cool it would be to tie the Speedforce into Black Lightning's powers, and that Berlanti's phrasing makes me think that it could fail on Fox and simply end up on The CW anyways. From the moment I saw the Supergirl pilot I liked it. But let’s face it CBS didn’t exactly make this show as available to the target audience as it should have. Well with the show making the move to the CW to join the winning team you can get caught up with the release of the first season on DVD and Blu Ray. August 9, 2016 you can get all 20 episodes, plus the deleted scenes, gag reel, and Comic-Con panel. Earlier this afternoon (March 5, 2015), a vintage, one-engine two-seater crash landed at the Penmar Golf Course, located in the Los Angeles suburb of Venice, not far from the Pacific Ocean and just west of Santa Monica Airport. Its pilot, 72-year-old Harrison Ford, was found "seriously" injured. He was alone on the plane. There were no injuries on the ground. As explained in the Los Angeles Times, "fire officials would not identify the victim of the crash but said he was conscious and breathing when paramedics arrived." With Elena’s boyfriend and best friend gone to Plec-knows-where, Nina Dobrev tells TVLine that her character’s choices in The Vampire Diaries‘ sixth season “will ultimately define who she is.” And that’s not necessarily a good thing.
