For Catherine Hooper, recovering from the death of her fiancé, Andrew Madoff has gotten harder as time has passed, not easier.

“It’s been pretty awful,” Hooper 44, tells People. “It’s not to say that you don’t find your peace with it but it has been really, really difficult. “No! No. I’m American, so I still have to apply to that,” Selena said, smiling.

There have been talks for a while that Carrie Bradshaw’s life before her NYC heartbreaks would be made into a TV series and reportedly the CW is seriously considering it!

Selena Gomez‘s ultimate gig may be right around the corner. HollywoodLife.com‘s sister site Deadline.com is reporting that the CW is considering the teen version of Carrie Bradshaw’s life for their CW lineup. The show would be based on Candace Bushnell‘s recent book The Carrie Diaries. Sometime later this year, A&E will broadcast the reality TV adventures of Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider, and his extended family on a new show called Growing Up Twisted. Even though the show doesn’t yet have an air date, the Snider family is deep in filming the series, and we were lucky enough to chat with Dee himself on the phone.

Ugo: So why do a reality show with your family?

Dee Snider: Well, we’re doing it for the family. People have been inquiring... Talking... I actually had a deal years ago to do something. PARIS -- French helmer Gael Morel's latest film, Apres lui (After him), will hold its world premiere May 21 as part of the Director's Fortnight sidebar at the Festival de Cannes, organizers said Tuesday.

The film, which stars Catherine Deneuve as a woman who becomes dangerously obsessed with her son's best friend after he dies in a car accident, will be released in Gallic theaters May 23.

Morel's follow-up to 2004's 3 Dancing Slaves and 2002's Under Another Sky also stars Thomas Dumerchez, Guy Marchand and Elodie Bouchez. Director's Fortnight will take place May 17-27 and the full lineup will be announced May 3.
