The movie was banned all over the world, including Japan for its extreme use of physical, psychological and sexual abuse against children and small animals.
Harada also put his life savings into this project since no studio was willing to invest into it.
Hiroshi Harada directed it, storyboarded it, fully animated it and also wrote the screenplay for it. The reason why he found himself doing all of this work is because all the studios he approached refused to make a movie that would show so much violence against children in such a graphic way.
The film is based off a manga by Suehiro Maruo.
Banned in its country of origin, Japan.
