Masoom

Masoom is an action drama film directed by Mahesh Kothare. The film stars Late Inder Kumar, Ayesha Julka, Omkar Kapoor, Tinnu Anand, Renuka Shahane, Late Laxmikant Berde, Suresh Oberoi, Mohan Joshi, Sulabha Arya and Arun Bakshi.

An investigative journalist endeavours to get a gangster arrested and punished for his crimes. However, the criminal kidnaps a child, after killing the latter's father.

I was a small kid when this film released and because of fabulous acting by Onkar Kapoor and superb comic timing by Tinnu Anand this film used to be mine guilty pleasure at that time but today will review the film with film viewing criteria.

The plot of the film is decent and the acting also is decent, Inder Kumar was impressive in his debut role , Ayesha Julka had played similar character back then and was okay in her role, Tinnu Anand, Onkar Kapoor, Laxmikant Berde were all great in their comic timings. Sulabha Arya was outstandingly superb in her character and Mohan Joshi was decent.

Screenplay of the film is average with first half is more comical and second half is more tensed, songs are good and were hit at the time of the release of the film. Climax of the film is little more over-dramatic.

Overall the film entertains but climax could be a little disappointing can be watched once.
