ZEPPO is one of those movies that takes you back to the days of low budget cinema in the style of Ed Wood, with a little Troma mixed in. You got ghouls, woman, cardboard sets, beer drinking zombies, and many other crazy concepts. Another draw for this indie gem is the casting of three b-movie genre staples. Troma President Llyod Kauman, Debbie Rochon, and Plan 9 From Outer Spaces' Conrad Brooks! There is indeed some side splitting laugh out loud moments in this movie. People who may be offended by raunchy humor probably should avoid this film. If you are a fan of Troma and other movies similar in that style you will find everything you need right here. I must also praise the filmmakers for getting a very good sound mix. The dialog was mostly all recorded separate with ADR sessions and it sounds very nice and crisp, which is the downfall of a lot of no no budget films. Hopefully this film will get a distribution deal soon and get out there for the masses to check out. If you like this film you will also enjoy the Directors other film Purvos.
