Funny

When Tim Ryan's leading lady walks out in a small hillbilly town, the leading lady he selects -- at gunpoint -- is dumb bell Irene Ryan.

I imagine some people decry hillbilly humor as stereotypical and they would be right, but Tim & Irene have a lot of fun with all the tropes, and play them to the hilt, ending this short movie with a rendition of "She'll Be Coming 'Round The Mountain".

The two of them would divorce in 1942, and Tim would die in 1956 at the age of 57. Irene would go on to greater fame as "Granny" on THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES, which would run from 1962-1971. She died in 1973, age 70.
