Q-Force

Blah blah boo hoo it's stereotyping. It hurts my feelings. It's a comedy it's supposed to be funny. And if your giving it a one star it's probably because it is spot on and your feelings got a tiny bump.

God when will people grow up and start getting the fact that life can be a little tough and crying every time you don't like something isn't the answer. However luckily for the you you have a remote control and can simply turn it off.

Doesn't take itself too serious and unlike the 'legitimate' critics, you shouldn't either.

In these times, a fun little show not out to hurt anyone, is perfectly welcome.

Kinda funny, fully silly and definitely enjoyable. I do feel they kept it a tad to clean though for a fully adult show and it's a tad too adult to be for the younger crowds.

It's highly entertaining reading some of the ridiculous hate on here as well! ; )

Before I start this review, i would just like to say that I'm a bisexual trans guy. Obviously I'm a member of the LGBT community, but obviously not everyone shares the same opinion as me. Some like the show and some won't, and that's fine as long as we respect each other. The initial teaser made the show look atrocious, but the show is a different story.

Summary: Basically a team of secret agents, but the catch is they're all queer.

Writing: Pretty mixed bag. One moment it could be rather serious and poignant, shedding a light on growing up and homophobia. On the other hand, it has that particular brand of milennial humor, gross-out, and LGBT stereotypes galore. There's even a character named Twink for crying out loud. 1/2 I suppose.

Characters: Steve is pretty sympathetic and the first episode made me feel bad for him. I quite like Stat too, mainly her design. Twink is very annoying though and I hate his design. Who names a character Twink? 1/2 again.

Music: One of the tolerable parts of the show. Typical spy jazz akin to James Bond. There's no official theme song because certain cartoons these days can't be bothered to make one. 1/2

Animation: It's not very special, that's all I have to say. I will give props to the art style - at least it doesn't look like a Family Guy ripoff. 1/2

Voice Acting: Another tolerable part of the show. The actors did the best with what they were given and I can appreciate that. 2/2

In conclusion, 6/10. It's not a horrible show, just very mediocre leaning towards okay. I understand the need for all kinds of queer stories, but shows that hinge on yasss queen stereotypes aren't my cup of tea. I just want to be treated like everyone else.

SO under-rated. As of today, only a 5 on imdb. Some funny stuff that they aren't getting credit for... gay jokes, lesbo jokes. They joke about citibank and wells fargo. On the plus side, they swear and tell it like it is. They make un-abashed LGBTQ jokes, and they are who they are. The writers (one plays benji) really catch the fun, (horny) free-spirited people that make up the community. I do feel bad for those who haven't been to WeHo, as there are TONS of weho jokes. They travel to palm springs and other places, even a pride celebration. Gotta love sean hayes and wanda sykes, laurie metcalf and the rest, like gilligan's island. Currently ony one season on the Flix, but i hope they make more! Kind of a gay Archer. It's fun. Party on!
