I have seen some Russian series before, this one definitely stands out as one I can not recommend to anyone. The characters are shallow and the dialogues poorly written. There is no storyline whatsoever - everyone is cheating on everyone and trying to act cool and/or sexy - no character is in any way believable.Your time is too precious for this one.

This is a great story about power, money, corruption, scheming and lust. Everyone seems to have affairs and one sees much naked skin. At the same time the characters are believable and sympathetic. It is also a tale about love and the longing to belong. The motto seems to be money is sexy. At the core of season one is an unresolved murder. The story draws one in as the dialogue is witty and the characters interesting. The setting could be anywhere as its likely a universal tale except the (police) corruption. Its nice to see russian style interior design and nice shots of moscow. The acting is good and one sees fresh faces apart from Hollywood typecasting. There is not just one main character but several and also the side characters are interesting. Its a great ensemble. With its lusty scenes it reminds me of season 1 of the girlfriend experience. The one thing i dont like are the many english songs at least in the german dubbed version. I would like more russian songs or some more modern electronic music.

Actors don't act, they whisper, and it will annoy off after one episode... Plot. Nothing special. In two words:"the rich can cry" or "drama for the sake of drama"

After watching even the second season, there is ABSOLUTELY no empathy for ANY character in this season. Look at these actors in other TV shows, they do their job normally, but not jn this series. Did no one, even the director, really cared? Burunov is being Burunov - you are constantly waiting for a dirty joke that never comes.

There are nudity scenes every 10 minutes. Why? I'm not against nudity when it's beautiful, not when it's ugly (I'm talking about cinematic "beauty"). The sex scenes are stretched out for the sake of stretching out runtime/pleasing the most thirsty viewers.

The constant swearing. It is almost everywhere. Even the actors seem embarrassed each time they have to swear for no reason whatsoever.

The soundtrack. It's terrible. The music is always out of place and doesn't fit at all. It's always either too loud or too quiet.

If you haven't watched this series, you haven't missed anything. I do not recommend watching at all. There's nothing of value here, except for cheap sex.

This grotesque drama perfectly illustrates the lonely lust and longing that underlies supposedly beautiful Moscow high society. Satires such as this provide an unedited insider's view to maximum effect.

Boring people, shallow, naked women with big tixs, mostly rich, ugly, old, fat men having sex almost all the time, inbetween stupid, cheap, sexist dialogues about sex and money... not to forget the cheap music! some people, especially men who stuck in the last century might enjoy this pile of trash
