Hilda Hilst, a poet from São Paulo who died in 2004 and one of the most important voices in Brazilian literature, returns to Casa do Sol, the farm where she lived in Campinas, and invites intellectuals, thinkers, poets and friends to a meeting with the aim of establishing contact between the living and the dead. Mixing different narrative styles, fiction with reality and in a non-linear way, the film explores the heart of Hilstian thought and different elements of the author's work.
I didn't quite understand the purpose of the film, and in the face of my ignorance, irrelevance was translated into a frustrated attempt to talk to the dead, to the beyond?!???!! And it ended, as quickly as it began, and without my understanding...
